"MacKayla, hurry up!" my mom says.
"Coming!" I say as I spray some perfume on and grab my purse and sandals. I run down the stairs, and into the kitchen. I grab an apple and stick it in my mouth, and quickly put my sandals on.
"You're going to be late if we don't hurry!" my mom says. I grab my script off the counter and shove it in my purse and run to the car.
"We'll be fine mom! Calm down!" I say to her as she turns the key in the ignition of our brand new black Range Rover. She takes a deep breath and nods. "Good."
On the drive to Disney headquarters, I practice my lines over and over again, and text my best friend Haylie.

"We're here! Let's get in there!" my mom says I jump out, and throw my purse over my shoulder and roll my ankle again.
"Ow," I say rubbing my head because I had hit it, and move my foot.
"You okay?" a mysterious voice says.
"Yeah I'm fine, just clumsy," I say taking his hand. He helps me up.
"I'm Leo," he says.
"MacKayla," I say. I'm standing on one foot. "Wait, Leo... Howard?"
"The one and only," he says, "Are you here for the auditions?"
"Yeah," I say.
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asks grabbing my arm.
"Yeah, I'm used to injuries. You kind of have to when you have been doing karate, dance, and gymnastics since you were three," I say.
"Really?" he asks.
"Yeah, I'm a second degree black belt," I say.
"Sweet! If you can do karate, can you act?" he asks.
"Been taking classes since I was six," I say proudly.
"Awesome!" he says, "Let's get you to your audition." I take a step, and almost fall. He picks me up and carries me to the door.
"Thanks," I say when he puts me down. He puts an arm around my waist and I put an arm around his shoulder, and he helps me in the door that my mom is holding open.
When we make it up to floor 14, we walk, well Leo walks, I hop out of the elevator, and every girl in the room looks up and glares at me.
"If you get the part, you'll get used to it," Leo whispers in my ear. I smirk.
"How am I supposed to get used to a bunch if girls hating my guts?" I whisper back.
"You just will, I'll see you in there," he says after he gets me to the couch.
"See ya," I say. He smiles and walks across the room and through a door.
