17. Chapter 16
I woke up in a bed that wasn't mine. Then I realized it was Nash's room and he was right next to me. He must have carried me from the couch to here. I got up and went to look for a clean toothbrush. I didn't want to bother Nash because he was sleeping. I found one and brushed my teeth. I guess Nash woke up and he snuck up on me in the bathroom. He grabbed my waist and I screamed, spitting toothpaste all over his face. Whoops. I started laughing and apologized. He washed his face and I finished brushing my teeth. I told him that I was going to go home and take a shower. I would meet him somewhere or he could pick me up. I left in my car. When I got home, no one was home. My mom was probably with Greg. I went to my room and took a shower. I picked an outfit that at least I thought was pretty. I ate a bagel and watched a couple episodes of Adventure Time. I texted Nash. He just told me that he would pick me up.
~10 Minutes Later~
Nash knocked on the door. I opened it and he had Starbucks in his hand. I looked at him and kissed him, but then I realized people might be watching. I pulled him inside. "Awwww! You didn't have to Nash." I said. I had a really big smile on my face. "Yes, I did" he said while leaning in to kiss me. When he did, I heard someone open the door. I turned really fast and saw Cameron standing there with roses. When Cameron saw Nash, he was about to run. He probably got scared. I took the roses and hugged him. "Thank you so much Cameron!" I said. Nash was just standing there. I whispered in Cameron's ear, "Leave. Now." Nash would kill him if he ever did that again. Cameron left and Nash looked so confused.
Nash- What the hell just happened?
Me- I'm not sure...
Nash- Are you both hooking up? Are you cheating on me?
Me- No! Why would you think that?
Nash- He came over with flowers! Who would do that?
Me- Ummm, Cameron.
Nash- I should leave now, okay...
Me- What don't leave!
Nash walked to the door. I ran right in front of his way so he couldn't leave. "Please don't leave! Please..." I said. He gently pushed me aside and walked outside to his car. I ran to his car, but he just got in and drove away. I fell to my knees on the ground, crying, right in the middle of my driveway.
