Fighting For It

This is just gonna be where I post all of the poems that I write on here. I also put them on my dA (Cenitopius.Deviantart.Com) and my Facebook for those of you who already have it. This series would probably have been called 'A Little Bit of Poetry' if it weren't for the fat that Fighting For It (101) was so descriptive of the whole series in it's name that I had to use it here as well.

46. Darker Times (Don't We All Come From)

You see a hill before you,
Towering, running the sky through
With it's peak, like a cutlass
But better pointed at your heart,
Because it's grown too heavy for you to carry,
You think.

You've seen a cliff before you,
Towering, a huge wall seen just anew,
You feel the very Earth is heartless,
But better point that thought at your heart,
Because it's grown too heavy to carry;
It sinks.

You worked through all the past
Or you don't read this rhyme,
So I'm telling you; embrace it,
Because you come from a Darker Time.
