Fighting For It

This is just gonna be where I post all of the poems that I write on here. I also put them on my dA (Cenitopius.Deviantart.Com) and my Facebook for those of you who already have it.
This series would probably have been called 'A Little Bit of Poetry' if it weren't for the fat that Fighting For It (101) was so descriptive of the whole series in it's name that I had to use it here as well.

30. Can I Ask Something Of You?

Can I Ask Something Of You? It's a trade. A proposition. I ask for your ear in exchange for mine. I ask that we share fairly our words. I ask that for my hands you might give me in return your heart. I ask to be one of two, not six or nine. I ask for the freedom of eyes and imagination, So we might build each other through their collaboration. I ask for your arms, giving an embrace that promises it'll be okay, In exchange for the promise that mine do the same. I ask to call out your name. I ask to give a room key to my broken heart, for one to your broken brain. I ask for a warrant to fix yours, in exchange for your fixing mine. It might not be me doing it, but you'll leave the room from time to time.
