Lost *Liam Payne*

When she was here, every day was full of light and happiness. Her smile would light up the darkest of days, blue eyes sparkling bright, hair as yellow as the sun. There was never a point in time when I was unhappy when she was around.

Until now.

Now, the skies are grey, dark and depressed. All happiness has disappeared...along with her. She's gone. She left. She never came back.
She's lost. But I'm determined to find her.

8. Chapter 8

Wendy's POV
"I know where Harmonie is..." I whisper, trying and failing to sound strong. I let out a loud breath I had been holding, feeling as if a weight had been lifted off of me. When neither of the boys say anything, I turn to look at them.

Liam's chocolate brown eyes widen and look as if they are gonna pop out of his head. His skin goes pale, his breathing becoming shallow. Niall's body went rigid at the news, his head slowly lifting from his arms. The blonde boy turns towards me, a look of shock and anger on his face.

"What?" Niall asks incredulously, standing up out of his chair. He faces his whole body towards me, his hands clenched into fists. The Irish boys body is practically shaking.

When I don't say anything, he inches towards me, his voice becoming deep with rage. "What did you just say?" He asks me, his body now right in front of mine. Niall has me pinned up against the kitchen wall, fear flowing through my body as he grips onto my shoulders and shakes me violently.

"Where is she!" He shrieks in my face, causing me to cry out in fear and pain. His grip on my shoulder had tightened, his nails digging into me. Niall looks like a madman. The once sweet and funny boy has gone completely insane, his caring light blue eyes now a dark and menacing indigo.

"Nialler." Liam simply states, placing his hand on Niall's shoulder. "You're scaring her." Liam says. Niall continues to shake me and throw me up against the wall. I whimpered, wishing it all would stop. "Niall. Stop. You're hurting her!" Liam implies, pulling on the blonde boy, trying to pull him off of me.

"Please...Niall...please." I beg, tears falling from my eyes. Niall's eyes meet mine for the first time since he began his assault on me. Slowly, he stops, looking into my eyes deeply.

Just as fast as his anger came, it left being replaced by sadness. The boy crumbles onto the floor, pulling me down with him, bawling his eyes out.

Violent sobs erupted from his body, my arms wrapping around him in comfort. Liam dropped to his knees on the floor, placing his face into his hands.

"I'm sorry...I'm so sorry Wendy..." Niall's kept repeating to me over and over, his body still shaking from his crying.

"Shh...Niall...shh it's ok..." I cooed, trying to calm him down. I grasp his round face in my hands, pulling up his blue eyed gaze to my green one.

Locking eyes with him, I whisper "I can help you find her..." . I turn to Liam, realizing that he is watching me as well as Niall.

"I can help...I think I know where she could have went." I explain to the two boys. They glance at each other, locking gazes for a second before looking back at me.

"How?" Niall asks me in a low voice. I look at him with a confused expression.

"What do you mean?" I ask him, not sure what he wants me to say.

"How do you know my little sister?" He questions, his eyes meeting mine. I feel my eyes widen slightly. Liam gives me the same questioning look that Niall was currently giving me. I take a deep breath.

"It's a long story..." I explain to them awkwardly, Niall and Liam both sitting in front of me. They both give me little head nods as if to say 'keep going'.

"Well, about a year ago...a girl had showed up on the porch. I had literally only had this place for a month beforehand. She just appeared on the porch in the middle of the day saying she needed a place to say...a lot like how you boys came along." I say with a smile. Liam and Niall grin somewhat at me, waiting for me to continue the memory.

"She told me she was sent here to help me, saying that she was needed here in Neverland more than where she came from..." Liam's face showed a hurt expression, along with Niall. I gave them a sad look, but then carried on.

"At first, I wasn't totally sure...but there was something about her that made me let her in. Her pretty blonde hair up in a ponytail, her beautiful face natural, blue eyes kind and caring. I couldn't say no to her! She told me her name was Harmonie Elaine Horan and that she was from Ireland. That's all she told me about her background...at first. The longer she stayed, the more I found out about her, the more I grew to like her. She was my best friend..." I whisper, looking up to meet the eyes of Liam and Niall. Tears fill their eyes, Liam smiling slightly.

"She changed this place. She made it better. The kids adored we. We used to have tons of kids here. She brought light into the place. Hen she left...so did most of the kids. They just disappeared, along with Harmonie. Now all I have is Beau, Milo, Emerson, and Lily. They are like my own kids. I love them with all my heart..." I smile as I think of my babies out in the front yard.

"Oh! I almost forgot! She left a note...That's how this all fits!" I yell out with a smile, connecting the pieces to the puzzle I had been trying to figure out dive the day Harmonie left. I rush to my room, rummaging through drawers and old boxes until I find what I was looking for.

In an old box in my closet, I find the letter, pulling it out slowly. The envelope is slightly torn on the edges, the white color slightly darkened. On the front, I can still see my name scrawled across it in Harmonie's lovely handwriting.

I make my way back to the kitchen, Liam and Niall still seated on the floor. They both turn towards me as I enter the room, Niall looking looking like his normal, cute self.

"Is that the letter?" Liam asks me, eyeing the object in my hands. I nod to him with a smile on my face. Sitting on the floor, I face the two handsome boys in front of me.

The boy, who's chocolate eyes and sweet smile make me melt on the inside and the boy with beautiful blue eyes and an amazing accent who had effected me in a way that I couldn't explain the first time I saw him. They both sit there, staring at me intently, searching for their sister, for the love of their life. I realize now how much pressure is on me. What if I tell them the wrong thing? What if they leave and never come back? What if I never see Niall again? Or Liam? Or any of the other sweet boys that were a total surprise?

"Wendy? Are you ok?" Niall's hand placed atop of mine, his alluring Irish accent, pulls me out of my distressed thoughts. I meet Niall's cerulean blue eyes, staring into them deeply. I begin to get lost in them, drowning in the bright blueness of them.

"Uh...yeah! I'm great!" I say once I realize how long I had been staring. Niall's face begins to turn a shade of deep red, along with mine. Liam grins at us, waggling his bushy eyebrows at Niall. The two boys playfully push each other around for a minute of two before they turn back to me.

"Ok...the letter..." I mumble, taking a deep breath as I pull it out of it's envelope. Glancing up at each of them, I receive encouraging looks. Grinning slightly, I begin to read the letter.
