"I miss you too, beautiful..." I whisper through my phone to the perfect red haired girl waiting for me back in California.
We have texted, Skyped, and talked on the phone every night and every morning since us boys left Neverland. Every day that I spend without her, my heart shatters over and over. Wendy. She's perfect.
"How are the little ones?" I ask her, chuckling as I hear Beau in the background yelling about how he isn't little, he's a man now.
"They're just great! Lily got another tooth and is starting to talk more. She's been saying Liam's name alot though...she grew quite fond of him." Wen explains. I grin, thinking about the blonde haired cutie.
"Yeah, they got on great! I can't wait to seem them all! Milo and Emerson doing good as well?" I question, imagining the two young boys. The sound of Milo's battle cries show me that he has been a handful for Wendy.
Laughing, I listen to him ask if Uncle Zayn can play G.I. Joe with them again soon. Wendy sighs, apparently not knowing an answer to give him.
"Why don't you go play with Emerson, baby? Ok, yeah! Have fun!" I listen as she sends him off go play somewhere. The fact that she is so great with those kids makes me love her more than I ever thought it to be possible to love someone.
"I love you, Niall..." She whispers, reading my thoughts. It killed me, not being with her. It really did. She is the person meant for me and I want to cherish her with all my heart. She's my everything now.
"I love you too, Princess. Sweetdreams...er, well, good morning to you I guess..." I say awkwardly, our different time zones jacking me up. Her adorable giggles fill the phone causing a huge smile to spread across my face, my heart fluttering wildly.
"Sweetdreams to you, Ni..." She whispers, making a kiss noise into the phone before the line goes dead. Wendy. I love that girl...
I shift around in my bed, trying to get comfortable. The room Glinda places me in seemed rather odd. It was set up and decorated like a young boys room, but from what I had observed, Em and Glinda were the only people living in the house.
All of the other boys were placed in guest bedrooms, Zayn still fast asleep on the comfy brown couch out in the living room. Harry and Lou had had to share a room while Liam was left alone on the other side of the house in a lone guest room, away from everyone else.
Not able to place my self comfortably, I decide to sneak out and see of Liam was awake. I have never been good being away from home, especially in a total strangers house.
Why were we even here? We keep getting stopped at the weirdest places, Harmonie seeming to be totally and completely forgotten by everyone else.
Opening and closing the bedroom door without even the slightest creak, I tiptoe my way down the hall. I try to keep myself as quiet as possible, cursing myself when my stomach begins to growl. "I should've ate more at dinner." I whisper to no one but me.
Rolling around the floor like the awesome ninja I am, I maneuver my way around a snoring Zayn, chuckling softly as he mumbles complete rubbish in his slumber.
Finally, I make my way to the door to Liam's room. I don't even knock, scared that someone might hear me. I just open the door slowly, praying that I wouldn't wake him if he was sleeping.
What I saw in the room was like a flashback to almost a year ago. Liam sits on the floor propped up against the bed, head tilted back with his eyes closed. His left arm rests in is lap, a razor in his right hand. Blood is trickling onto the hardwood flooring, streaming from the deep slashes he had pierced into his skin.
"Liam...no...not again..." I groan, tears welling in my eyes as I see what he has become once again. He has fallen into the darkness and I don't know how I'm gonna get him back out again.
Pain evident on his face, he begins rocking back and forth on his heals, whispering over and over.
"Harmonie...I'm gonna find you...Harmonie..."
