"I-I love you," my heart flew when she said that. I picked her up and she wrapped her legs around my waist. I kissed her hard.
"I. Love. You. Too," I said between kisses. I meant it this time. I wasn't going to break her heart and I will never leave her. Ever.
I laid us on her bed and she pulled herself against my chest. We heard the door slam. I heard the familiar voices of her parents. Shit they were home early. I pulled myself off her and ran downstairs to greet them, "Hi Mr.Holt!"
"Hello Kellin. How was everything?"
"Great! Question what made you come home so early?"
"Our client canceled on us," Lacy came downstairs and hugged her parents. She looked back at me nervously. I nodded to tell her what needs to be done.
"Sir, there's something we need to tell you two and I think you should sit down for it," They sat on the couch.
"Mom, daddy, Kellin and I love each other and are together," she said looking down. Her father smiled. Wait what?
"That's okay with me, Lacy," he replied. I looked at Lacy and smiled widely. She squealed and hugged me tightly, "as long as you promise to love and treat her with respect,"
"I promise ,Sir. I love her more than you can ever imagine," I said looking into Lacy's eyes. I looked at her mother who was smiling wider than me.
"I guess Kellin is Lacy's first love," she said holding back tears. She got up and hugged both of us, "Welcome to the family Kellin."
