18. Don't Leave Me
I was shocked at the sight my eyes bestowed upon me. I started to shake as I dial the most known number, 911. While talking to the receiver, I broke down and started crying, but she snapped me out of it. Alex's life depended on me. After I got her back to the ground, I immediately started trying to stop the bleeding. Her heart was still beating, but it was already getting weak and slow. Then, for the first time in a long time, I did something that I haven't done for a long time, I prayed and prayed and prayed. I prayed that she would be spared, or that she would live and I would die. As her pulse got weaker, I silently begged for the fire department and the paramedics to hurry. Just as I felt a bad anxiety attack coming on, I heard the slam of doors. I quickly and carefully picker her up and ran outside, barefoot, to bring her to them. "Please, don't... don't let her..." and I broke down crying. "Please she's my only friend and family I have." They told me they'd do their best.
