3. Confident part 3
I was getting so bored. These girls were boring. I looked over to the gazebo where the boys were sitting and noticed a girl getting up and walking away from the gazebo and toward the house. My eyes followed her until she disappeared inside and I looked back over to the gazebo. Eleanor had joined them and brought along another girl who was talking with Liam. I looked back to the house to see if the girl with the red dress was coming back out but she wasn't. "Uh.. Here. I'll be right back." I lied and handed them my cup of lemonade. I rushed toward the house and kept my eyes open. I saw her walking up stairs and followed her. I wonder who she was. I started thinking about who she could possibly be. That's right. Eleanor was bringing along two of her good friends from Sydney. She kept walking down the hall and I followed her from a distance. She seemed different. Intriguing in a way. She walked into the bath room and I went back down stairs and waited outside so I could 'accidentally' bump into her. So I waited. She eventually came outside and she stopped and opened her bag. I was guessing she was pulling her phone out of it. So I took the chance. I mean, I could of just gotten introduced to her, but I wanted to do it on my own. I walked up to her and bumped into her back. She turned around and her hair flew around perfectly and her eyes met mine. It felt like everything happened in slow motion. When our eyes met I took in a deep breath then smiled.
"I'm sorry. I tripped."
"That's fine." She replied back amused. "Excuse me." She said and turned around. I just got ignored. Rejected. I gently grabbed her arm and turned her around. I wasn't sure what to say. I just kind of wanted to look at her for a second. Her eyes were a perfect shade of hazel and her lips looked so soft. Look away from her lips. I swallowed and looked back into her eyes. "Is something wrong?" She asked looking a little curious. I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out. What in the world was wrong with me. I had talked to girls before, why was I choking now? I just shook my head. "Do you need to sit? You look a little red." She added. I nodded and dropped my hand from her arm. She placed her hand on my elbow and I felt a shiver down my spine. We began to walk toward the gazebo.
"Wait." I said and stopped, before we got any closer to the gazebo. If we went to sit with the rest, I wouldn't be able to talk to her one on one.
"Harry!" I heard someone call my name and looked over to notice the four girls I was with previously were walking over toward me. "Harry!" They called again. I cursed under my breath. I was regaining my composure. Thank god.
"I'll leave you too it then." She said suddenly walking away.
"Wait!" I grabbed her arm. "I wanted to talk with you." I said.
"I think you're a little busy. Have fun." She smiled and walked off as the girls threw themselves on me.
