9. Chapter Nine
I walked onto the school property, looking at all the faces. Where was he? I froze when I saw the familiar bandana. I jogged over. "TAYLOR!" I yell, people beginning to stare. I find Cameron watching, as soon as he catches my gaze he looks away. Taylor rolls his eyes and straightens out his back. "What do you want?!" He screams, making a scene. Even better. I smirked. "Nash. Look you're wasting my time so ma-" I cut him off, my fist connecting with his nose. I watched as he stumbled backwards holding his nose. A sick smile found it's way to my lips as I lunged, knocking him over and connecting my fist with his jaw, and his eye, and again in his mouth.
It feels better with every hit. I feel my guilt wash away. I feel happy for once. Seeing his blood covered face brings me joy. Knowing he's suffering. I pulled my fist back and somebody grabbed my wrist. I looked up to find Aaron. He gave me a soft smile. I smiled too, hitting him in his eye. He stumbled and tripped over his feet falling onto his back. I turned back to Taylor, hitting him again. He coughed and blood spluttered everywhere. Someone grabbed me, but I knew it wasn't Aaron.
I fought against the person. But they were just stronger. He pulled me up, and faced them. It was Cameron. I froze. My plan was to hit him too. But could I do it? Yes. I kneed him in his balls and stormed off away from them. It felt good. To hit someone. Let my emotions take over. I walked home with a smile on my face. I looked down at my blood stained hands. I pulled off my blood covered shirt throwing it in a bush. Can't let my mom wash that.
I walk into the house. My mom smiles. "Someone's in a good mood!" She observes. I nod, hiding my hands. I walk up the stairs. I can't believe I got away with it. Taylor doesn't have the guts to tell on me, cause they'll think he's trying to get back at me. Cam and Aaron. I think I found my targets. Along with Skylar.
If I can't love her. No one can.
