48. Chapter Fourty-Six

Back to Skylar's POV

"So how's school?" My sister asks.

"Alright, I guess. Yours?" I shrug.

"Alright, I guess."

Never have I been so awkward. My sister, my aunt and I all sit at the table which we never use eating pasta.

"So what's the latest gossip Sky?" My aunt smiles.

My sister laughs loudly. "I'd love to hear this."

Crap. I know nothing about what's going on at school. I've been skipping school lately.

"Uh, you know the usual. Teenage stuff."

"Like what kind of stuff?" My sister continues to ask.

"You know Suicide."

My aunt's fork clatters against her plate. My sister...she's put her fork down gently staring at me with wide eyes.

"I think it's time for you to change schools." My aunt mumbles.

"Monnie I do-" I use her nickname but she still cuts me off.

"Go to your room. Both of you."

My chair squeaks against the floor, and I can feel my sister, Luna's glare.

"Nice job loser." She smacks me in the back of the head, walking up the stairs.

"Bitch." I say under my breath and walk upstairs and into my room.

I hate my life so much.

"Hello?" I grumble.

"Hey, it's Cameron."

"I'm not supposed to talk to you. Remember?"

"You need to get rid of the bad. So you can make room for the good. Do you know anything bad that you want to get rid of?" My Therapist, Mr. Gregory, Mark Gregory explained.

"People, not things."

"Who, tell me why."

"Well there's the obvious person Nash, he's just an earthquake of depression, that rocks you, wave after wave with depression. Then there's Cameron, he's just a liar and I trusted him and that screwed me over."

"Right. See now you have to eliminate."

"You either tell them straight up, or you slowly contact them less."

"Well I'm not supposed to talk to you. I need to make room for the good." I explain.

"You sound like a robot. I can not talk to you. For it is not in my well being." He mocks in a robotic voice.

I roll my eyes. "You're an idiot. I gotta go."

"Just one thing. Will you be at school tomorrow?"

"I don't know, I think I might say goodbye to Nash."

"You haven't eliminated him yet?" He gasps.

"I have but he keeps dragging me back in so I'm gonna say my final goodbye."

"That's stupid."

"You're stupid." I hang up.

I groan "hello?"

"Skylar. It's Cameron."

I glance at the clock. 3:00AM "Cameron do you know what time it is?"

"Look it's Nash, j-just come to the hospital quick. Please." He hangs up.

My gosh! What does it take to get some rest in this gosh darn town?!

"Cameron what's going on?"

"Nash is in a coma. There's a 90% chance he could die."
