Hey guys! How are y'all doing? I hope you guys are getting ready for this summer! I know I am! :) anyway, just wanted to say thanks for reading! Hope you Enjoy!
"To the first aid!!!" Louis screamed raising a hand into the air. Louis ran like a manic through the hallways. Once Louis and Kelsey found me. The voice went away instantly. The only pain I felt was my back. The headache and the ringing in my ears disappeared. Although Kelsey was freaking out about Louis rushing down the corridors recklessly with me in his arms. I preferred it a lot more than hearing that man's voice. I literally had to hold on for life as Louis turned sharply on corners. I wrapped my arms around his neck and started to pray in my mind that I would live to see another day. The last thing I needed to see was the floor for another 15-20 minutes.
"Up up and away!" Louis chanted pretending he was superman. What was it with this boy?! Does he never shut up?
"Don't worry Kaitlin! I'll help you!"
"How about you do some help and stop running so fast!!" I yell in his ear, he smiles and shakes his head "Psh! No way! The faster I get you to help! The faster you'll feel relief!
"You running around like a maniac isn't helping at all!" Louis laughs at my comment and continues to run even faster, did this boy have any clue that there could be a big chance of falling over!
"Where's your fun Kaitlin? It's not everyday that a top-notch celebrity gets to carry you for help!"
"My fun consists of sitting down with a blanket and a book, eating Ferrero Rocher chocolate!"
Louis sharply turned another corner, that almost sent me launching from his arms. I screamed at the top of my lungs, while Louis just laughed slowing down his pace. "Your fun sounds boring! Where is your sense of adventure?!"
"Combining tours with you boys is my adventure! Probably the biggest one of my career!"
"Psh! You call that an adventure? You need to get out more often love!" With a roll of my eyes, I shut up for the rest of the sprinting session. At this point I had nothing else to say... Fighting with Louis was impossible, then again, a lot of boys are impossible. He's just another one of those boys that don't understand that being stupid isn't the only way to have fun.
"Mr. Tomlinson! Where have you been?! We're almost ready to go out on stage!" Louis went through the stage door still carrying me. I shoved my wind blown hair behind my ears and groan angrily. I could see one of the boys stick their head's out from the backstage room. I looked closer to see that it was Liam. The look on his face was pure terror and he rushed out "Louis! Where have you be-" Liam stopped in his tracks once he saw me in his arms bridal style. "Did I miss something?" He scratched the back of his head while I groaned angrily with a hint of embarrassment. "We had to save Kaitlin, she fell on her back. She couldn't get up. We're thinking of having one of the medical teams look at her." Liam's eyes drifted to mine and he looked worried "are you still in a great deal of pain?" All I could do was nod my head, it hurt too much too talk. If I did talk there was a big chance that I could start crying and that was the last thing I needed.
Liam had called over some of the medical team, while they rushed over, I was laying face down with at least 15 large ice packs that laid down from my shoulders to my butt. After 5 minutes of them laying on my back, I was shaking harder then a dog that just had a bath. "Miss Cainwood? Would you like a blanket?"
"N-no! That w-would only make it c-c-colder!" I chatter "h-how is t-the t-t-team?"
"They're fully ready! They are on stage ready to go! They wish you well by the way. They heard about your injury, and they really want you to get better." I smiled a shaky chattering smile, although it was hard to get them to listen sometimes. My team really knew how to make my day. "Miss Cainwood, how are you?" My eyes tear from Kelsey and shift to the door. There was a woman with glasses and her hair up in a bun. She walked in with a pleasant smile and kneeled down to my level "Connie Harvard. I hear that you've hurt your back?" I nod my head and she eyes the ice-packs. "Do you have any back problems? Any surgeries? How long ago did you injure yourself."
"N-no, n-o, about t-twenty minutes a-ago."
"Hmm... On a scale of one to ten, how badly does it hurt? With one being 'not really' and ten being unbearable."
"Hmm... Well, I'm only a medic. But I would advise that you at least need to stay off your feet for the next 48 hours. Also keep icing your back, that's going to numb the pain."
Kelsey looks disappointed at what little advice the medic gave "isn't there anything that you can do to help?" The medic just shakes her head "no, I'm afraid not, I'm sorry but I'm not a doctor, just a medic." Kelsey sighs at her comment "alright, thank you." The medic gives me some pain medicine and leaves with a smile.
"S-so much for w-watching the p-p-performance..."
"I could record it for you, if you'd like Miss Cainwood."
"Yes, I would like that..."
