23. So she was trying to hide something
Niall's POV~
So I was right. When she told the both of us, I got the whole truth. She went to the demonic realm and been told that she was supposed to be demon queen... What are we gonna do??
Lusetta's POV~
I waited for their reactions and Niall reacted first. "You can't... You won't!" He ran some more water over his hands, washing away the blood from my wounds. "Niall's right! I won't let you go!" Zayn half-shouted as he gave me a tight hug. I looked around, nervous, and then left Zayn's embrace. "Come on, boys. We'd better get back to the group before something happens!" I raced back, the others a speck in the distance and found exactly what I didn't want to find. The demons had them captured... Anna was being held by one, Harry was tied to a tree, Liam was unconscious on the ground, Louis was locked in the back of one car and Haley was locked in the back of the other. It was 12:30... "We've still got time. It's the twelfth hour..." One of them spoke, his voice like gravel. "Come on and we'll let them go!" I stepped forward, ready to give myself up when Zayn went rushing for one of them. He was knocked to the ground immediately and knocked out. Niall tried doing the same, but I stopped him with a look. "Fine, but you first..." They smiled and teleported. I did the same~
"Ah, my daughter has returned!" He called as I walked in the door, my veil dragging the floor next to my 'brother'. I was dressed like I was at a wedding, only my dress was black and dark red, not white. "Father..." I said quietly. "Now is the time for your new queen to be crowned!" The demons cheered and I felt a dark shadow fall over the room. It was 12:59. I had only seconds left. "Please, father... Don't make me do this..." He smiled. Five seconds, four seconds, three seconds... "Goodbye, Zayn..." One! My 'father' collapsed on the floor, groaning and moaning as a dark cloud came out of him. It circled the room and stopped when it got to my 'brother' and me. It swirled among the two of us, as if deciding which to pick. As it swirled in front of us, it took the shape of a human, with eyes as red as coals and it's body as black as night. "Who, of you, is my successor?" It asked, its voice as deep and gravely as I had ever heard it. Neither of us spoke, we just stood in amazement. "Well, then, you may fight for it!" It yelled, our swords materializing before us.
