I flew to the outskirts of the nearest town and asked for a car dealership. I was directed to what was one of the best ones I had ever seen. "Hey. How can I help you, sweetie?" The lady behind the counter asked. "I need two fast cars that can get me just about anywhere." She smiled. "I have just the thing!" She led me outside to two black hummers with suspension and four-wheel drive. "How much?" I asked, expecting a horrid number. "thirty thousand, take it or leave it." I smiled. "Done, my lady!" I said confidently as I pulled the exact amount out of the small purse I had with me. It took a while with the paperwork, but I got everything taken care of and got the hell out of there, one in drive and one in tow.
It took about two hours to reach camp. Niall and Liam hugged me as soon as I got there, but Zayn was nowhere to be found. When I asked about him, Niall sighed and said, "No one's really seen him since you left..." I figured he'd come back in his own time, but after half an hour, I grew extremely worried. "Where did you last see him?" I asked Anna as she was getting things loaded into the hummers. "He was sitting in one of the old cars..." I took off to the farthest car and found a note lying on one of the back seats.
Sorry that we had to steal lover boy, but we need you back home and we knew that taking him would get you here for sure. There's a revolt from the people and it's getting to where we can't keep them out of the castle. Hurry up or we'll keep him here!
I growled and let Anna know where I was going and that I'd be back soon. "Be careful, please!" Harry called as I was leaving. "No promises!" I yelled back and ported through to the underworld.
"She'd better hurry up or else we'll all be dead!" One of the guards complained. I had been down here for what felt like two or three hours, but I doubted it had been more than an hour. I rattled my chains, trying once again to slip out of them. "Why do you need her, anyway?" I asked, trying to sound unafraid. "Because she is the Queen and therefore the only one who can put a stop to this revolt!" a disembodied voice grumbled. "Oh, so the big, bad demons can't handle a few--" "LISTEN HERE, YOU--" footsteps cut through his yelling and the entire dungeon went silent. "Now, then..." I heard Lusetta say in an all-too-calm voice. "...why are my people revolting and who in Hell's name gave you the authority to steal Zayn, hmm?" I pulled on my chains desperately, trying to reach the door, but they were too short. A tall guard stood in front of my cell so that I couldn't be seen and I already knew that they had made it so that I couldn't be heard. "Zayn, where are you?" I jumped a little, not expecting her to be able to get to me that easily. "Your brother was the one who told us that this was the only way, your highness." I tried to respond, but their barriers were still keeping me silenced for now. "Zayn, answer me! I can't keep them talking forever!" I wanted to reply, but I still couldn't so much as peep. "You know very well that I would have come if you had asked, you swine!" "Zayn, I know that you're still mad, but please answer me. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said and done what I did... Please, Zayn... Just answer me." A guard shuffled his feet and the one in front of my cell moved. Lusetta was gone and I soon found my tongue. "Why wouldn't you let me speak to her?" "Because she needs no distractions when she is fighting her brother... There is no revolt... He forced us to lie so that he could challenge her for the crown... If we didn't, he would have killed our families. And, even though we may be cruel and heartless, we can still love just like a human can..." I felt sorry for them, but I had to help Lusetta. "Lu, It's me! Zayn! There is no revolt! Your brother just wants to fight you for the crown! Please! Listen to me!!"
