He was so sad. Zayn had put her under a tree and gone to the car for some reason, so I walked over to Harry. "What happened to her?" Harry asked, trying his best to be quiet with his deep voice. "I don't know. All I saw was the light and then she was just... gone." I had hoped they would both make it, but it was now quite apparent that that wasn't going to happen. We walked away as Zayn started to make his way from the car, shovel in hand. "Oh..." Harry said, sorrow and knowing in his voice. "He's going to give her a proper burial..." I said, tears sliding down my face. "I'll be right back, ok, Anna?" Harry asked, looking anxious. "Alright..." I agreed as he walked away into the bushes. I sat down next to a bush and watched Zayn, wondering what was going through his head...
"I love you....." The words kept echoing inside my head. If she loved me, then why did she leave me? I didn't know... I started digging, hoping to get lost in the dirt and the heat. But I didn't. I remembered why I was digging this hole and I knew exactly who it was for. It was for the only person that I had ever loved... I kept digging until I had dug about six feet down and six feet long. I managed to be able to crawl my way out, but what I saw surprised me. There, where Lusetta had been laying was a beautiful mahogany coffin. It had a likeness of her and I hugging in the middle and there was glass over her face. She looked as if she was sleeping in there, but I knew otherwise. Harry stepped up and gave me a hug. I should've known... "Harry, I--" He cut me off with a wave of his hand. "Think of it as my last present to her and to you..." I smiled, but tears slid down my face as I looked at her. Anna was crying, too, as well as Haley over by Louis. "Wait.... What the..." I turned around and Lu's casket was suspended in thin air and glowing. I walked over and opened her deathbed and it fell away, like a shell from a butterfly. Her hair was turning black and her body was that of a huntress. Her clothes were a black leathery material and had places for many weapons. If she was coming back, she was coming back prepared. Her eyes shot open and she looked directly at me and smiled a small, weak smile. I touched her face and she held my wrist for a moment. Then, just as the light had appeared, it disappeared. Her body went back into the open casket and she looked dead once more. But, something was different about her. The way her hair was all black except for one streak and her body... Then she groaned. Her eyes fluttered and she coughed a few times. I picked her up out of the casket and laid her on the ground with her head on my leg. "Zayn?" She asked, her voice still rough and gravely. "I'm here, Lu. I'm right here..." I hugged her like she could've slipped right through my fingers at any moment because she could, for all I knew. "Ugh, my head..." Her eyes opened and I gasped. They weren't blue anymore... they were black! "Lu... Your eyes... they're black!!" She sat straight up and stood within seconds, staring down at me with her old blue eyes. "What are you talking about?! That isn't possible, I..." I shushed her and brought her back over to me. "It's ok, now. It must have just taken a little longer to come back than the rest of you because they're back to blue, now, ok? She nodded and leaned into my side. Everyone was smiling again except for Anna. "Lusetta?" She asked, and Lu just smiled.
