I woke up looking at a red sky.
I was in the underworld.
Its where all guardians who were killed went.
Your probably thinking 'weren't you already dead ?'
No i wasn't, but i am now.
There was no way i was going to get Mandy's soul back.
No way to get her back to Trisha.
I was never going to see Trisha again.
You may find it weird but over the years i feel in love with her, since i have to watch over her, i felt lime i knew her before i even spoke to her.
Now i was dead.
All around me were broken buildings.
There was a thick fog covering the ground.
What was i supposed to do now?
There was a lady on the sidewalk yelling 'i know we will all be saved, you just wait.'
People looked at her like she was crazy.
Technically none of us should be here since we aren't into violence but ever since the 'devils' came along everything changed.
I walked around not knowing what to do.
I woke up crying.
He was gone.
Or was it just another dream?
Dylan appeared in my room.
"Guess your sister isn't coming back anytime soon. Without Cameron you definitely have no chance of getting her back. Even with him you had no chance."
"He's really gone?" I whispered.
He nodded and flashed out.
Why did it hurt so much.
I barely knew him.
Did i fall for him.
His words echoed through my mind 'i love you'.
My heart broke all over again.
I was so disappointed in myself.
I failed everyone.
I had no clue where i was going and i didn't care.
I sat on a curb.
I felt weird.
Everything felt tingly.
Then it hit me.
I tested out my theory.
I closed my eyes and imagined myself across the street. When i opened them, there i was string at where i had just been.
My powers finally came in!
Talk about bad timing.
I didn't know you could still use them here.
I noticed a girl staring at me as if i was some sort of alien.
She walked up to me.
"How did you do that?" She asked.
"I just did, my powers finally kicked in."
A smile crept on her face.
"There is no such thing as a late bloomer, you new here?" She asked.
"I can tell, because if you wen't you would have knew that no one here has powers." She said.
I was confused.
"The legend was right." She whispered.
"The one who will save us all from the traitors, heal the humans, open the gates of the underworld, they will have a great amount of power but will know how to use it when the time comes, blooming later then the rest. The Hero. The savour. The Guardian." She said.
I heard of that legend growing up.
But i couldn't be The Guardian.
It wasn't possible.
"You can free us!" She said.
"Wheres the gate, no one knows but The Guardian." She said.
I closed my eyes and concentrated trying to imagine a gate that would lead out of this hell hole.
I knew exactly where it was even though i didn't know my way around here.
"This way." I said.
I approached a fence.
I grabbed it an closed my eyes.
I heard a gasp and opened my eyes.
There was a silver gate in front of me.
I pulled it open.
The girl ran back into town and when she came back she had a crowd of people with her.
They all ran through the gate yelling with joy.
The girl stopped, bowed and said, "thank you." Before following the others.
I guess i was The Guardian.
I couldn't believe it.
I could get Mandy's soul back!
I ran through the gate and found myself back in the Golden Gate.
I had to find Dylan.
I searched everywhere before i found him lounging around.
I took the sunglasses he was wearing and chucked them aside.
He was surprised to see me.
"I thought i killed you?"
