The bright light from the flash dimmed down as I surveyed the room I was in.
Harold was no where to be found.
"Hello Trisha, fancy seeing you here." A cold voice said.
I spun around to find Dylan.
"You and your Devil friends will never steal all the human's souls!" I say glaring at him. This was the guy who stole my sisters soul and tried to kill Cameron!
"You think Cameron and the other Guardians are going to be able to save you, because they won't." He says with a chuckle.
"As long as I have you and your sister, Cameron will be distracted long enough for our plan to play out."
"Where is my sister?" I ask harshly.
"Somewhere with the king." He said pacing around the room. "Don't worry he won't hurt her, yet, once we have all the souls on Earth we will take hers and yours."
"Cameron is going to stop you." I say determined.
"Whatever you say buttercup."
I give him an un-amused look.
"Take a seat." He says pointing to the only object in the entire room. "And don't make me ask twice."
I reluctantly take a seat on the edge of the chair. Dylan ties my hands to the back of the chair and pulls out a knife.
"I'm hoping that since Cameron is The Guardian that he will be able to sense that your in danger." He says making a face at 'The Guardian'.
He brings the knife to my neck and leans close to my ear, whispering, "I'm hoping that instead of stealing our soul I can just kill you, since I can't kill Cameron now that the gate to the underworld is open. I really want to make him suffer."
A shiver goes down my back.
"Why do you hate him so much, he's your brother?" I say. I was never going to get over the fact that they were twins, I mean seriously? Cameron is such a sweetheart and then there's Dylan...
"Because everyone always liked him best. 'Dylan you should be more hardworking like Cameron.' 'Dylan, how are you related to that sweet boy Cameron?' God I hate it, they always compare us!" He said tugging at his black hair.
"That always happens with siblings, my family does that with Mandy and I." I say.
"I doubt that they always single one of you out."
I remain silent, as it is true.
"That's what I thought." He said.
Just then the door came crashing down.
"Cameron!" I said gleefully.
"I told you to be careful." He says.
"Harold managed to snag her." Dylan says with a creepy smile.
"Do you guys really need to do all of this?" Cameron asks while slowly inching closer to Dylan.
"Yes we want to become more powerful so that we can rule over the Guardians."
"Why can't we all just live in peace?"
"You should come to an agreement, where the Devils and Guardians live separately. The Guardians can continue to protect the humans and the Devils can be free not to do so." I say.
"Its a little late for that, things are in motion." Dylan says.
"And it won't stop them from stealing souls, our best bet is to take away their powers and lock them up." Cameron says.
Cameron looks down at his watch and a holographic screen appears with Alison's face.
"I have Mandy, but she was unconscious when I found her, I think Marcus must have silenced her."
"Get her to safety I will undo it when I'm done here." He says clicking the side of his watch.
"Well your not leaving here for a while." Dylan says lunging at Cameron.
The fall to the ground in a heap of limbs.
As they were distracted Harold came out of the next room and covered my mouth with his hand. He lifted the chair and brought me into the room he came out of.
"Sit tight." He said taping my mouth shut.
He left the room and a few minutes later Dylan appeared.
I could still hear grunts and loud thumps coming from the other room.
"While Harold handles Cameron I thought now would be a good time to handle you, I have a slight change in plans." He said bringing the knife out to my throat.
Before I could think he drew the knife across my neck instantly leaving a trail of blood. My head fell to the side becoming to heavy for my damaged neck. Dylan leaned over me and shut my eyelids.
