6. chapter 6
Grocery Store " A gallon of milk, cream cheese, cheese, butter & tomato sauce ?" Today Liam & I are grocey shopping. It's been two week since we bumped into each other. Also, the same day I found out what my brothers have been up too. But now since that incident happen, Liam is always- and I mean always- with me. Everywhere I go, her goes. It's kinda annoying but then it's nice to have some company. I don't mind Liam it's the fact that my brothers don't think I can protect myself. I guess Liam & I are friends? Since he's always with me, we got to know each other better than the first time. A few things I've leanred about Liam were he can cook & bake, has one sister, he boxes, he's 23 years old & joined the gang since he was 18 after high school. I felt his arm around my waist & pull me close to him. When he does kind of action, we look like a couple. Which is good because he's doing his job. Protecting me from men who look suspicious. A normal girl will usually push Liam away from her, but in this case- I don't. Somehow, I enjoy Liam's touch. Every time when he will wrap his arm around my waist, it brings me warmth & safe. Almost like George's touch. "What's on your mind?" Liam says while grabbing the milk with his free hand. His other arm is still wrap around my waist. "George" I've mention George only once to Liam. All I ever told him about George was he was the love of my life. He didn't ask any other questions about him though. "What about George?" "You remind me of him" I look down at my feet, as his arm left my waist. It's true though. Liam was always gentle with his actions with me. Anytime when he wrap his arm around me, he holds me like I'm fragile. Same with George, anytime when we were cuddling or he just want to hold me, he will touch me like I was a new born baby. Both of them too afraid if like they're were to break me. Also, the way Liam talked sounds a lot like George minus the accent. Just so happy & passionate. Another thing, is the way they protected me. They use theirselves as a human shield. "Is that so? Well, how so?" he chuckle. "You just do" "Well, you remind me of my girlfriend." Right, his girlfriend. Did I forget to mention he has a girlfriend? A man good-looking like him has a girlfriend. She pretty though, he should me a picture of her. She's tall, blond wavy hair & sky blue eyes. I must admit I'm jealous of her beauty. What kind of guy is attractive to a regular size girl with brown wavy hair & just plain blue eyes? As we were walking to the sauces section, something- or should I say, someone caught my attention. He was tall, with chocolate brown hair. I couldn't see his face, but I knew he was staring at me. He almost look like...no it couldn't. He doesn't know where I am at or even happen to me. "Down to earth Emma" I snap back to reality & smile to Liam. "Sorry, I was thinking about work" I lied. He didn't look to convened, but shrug it off & continue walking. When I look back where he was standing at, but he wasn't there. - "...he stood there clueless. Poor guy didn't know what just happen to him" Turns out, the weird grocery list was actually dinner. Sam wanted me to cook dinner for the 'special guests' that were coming over. And those special guests were June & Josh. "Bloody hell Liam! How do you know all of this happen to Josh's brother?" June ask. " 'Cause, I was there. You should had seen him in the morning. He had the biggest hangover!" Liam laugh. It was strange to think Ian has been here before. Maybe that's why Deans choose to live here. "Oh hold on. My girl is calling" Liam leaves the table & walks somewhere private. "I like him" blurted June. "He has a girlfriend" I sigh "I know. What I meant, he's a cool guy" "Is everything alright Em? You been quite since we started eating." Josh moves closer to me. "Yeah, I notice too. What's wrong darling?" June joins. "Just tired" I lie. I was still thinking about what happen earlier in the grocery store. It couldn't be him. It just couldn't.
