Well we barely managed to get out the gates yesterday. This whole time we've been driving around looking for help but it seems like the whole city full of them. Everywhere we went those things were dragging themselves around some of them occasionally chased after the bus. We also ran out of gas a few hours ago so we had to mug one of them in order to get gas. WE HAD TO MUG A MONSTER (it was actually way way WAY harder than it sounded). Right now Nick is driving us to Belmont so i can check up on my parents, i wonder if they wanted to see their parents too. I hope my parents were fine but from what we saw yesterday, i kinda doubt it.
After we left the facility we managed to drive a couple miles before stopping and taking a rest since we stayed up all night thinking of our escape plan. We probably slept for about 4 hours or so before Virus woke us all up from a panic attack. We realized that the monsters were slowly inching towards the bus so we started it up and began to drive around in L.A. We found some food, drove around some more, looked for weapons and watched the world crumble before us. Right now, we're probably about 30 minutes away from belmont. my chest hurts i really hope they were okay.
Faith got out of the bus and took in what she saw in front of her. The school was a reck, severed body parts littered the entrance of the school. She grasped her bat tightly and waited for the others to come out.
Danny whistled, "Wow... I don't mean to burst your bub-" Faith extended her arm in front of Danny and glared at him, daring him to continue his sentence.
"Whatever, lets just go." Nick made his way between and them and pushed them apart. "Lead the way." he pointed to the school and waited for Faith to walk in front of him. Faith scowled at a nearby leg and kicked it aside resting the bat on her shoulder as she began walking towards the front door.
They managed to sneak inside and found the security room. The school was filled with monsters, some of them were walking around while others were on the ground pretending to sleep. Faith found the mic and swallowed knowing that her announcement would stir up every monsters in the school risking the safety of anyone what was still alive.
She cleared her throat, "HELLO? IF THERE'S ANYONE STILL ALIVE IN THIS SCHOOL, FIND A PHONE AND CALL THE EXTENSION LINE FOR THE SECURITY ROOM SO WE KNOW YOU ARE ALIVE. DO A HEAD COUNT AND TELL US HOW MANY IS WITH YOU. OR IF YOU ARE DARING ENOUGH, COME HERE." Faith turned off the mic and waited, crossing her fingers.
Outside, she could hear the monsters moaning as they crowded around areas where the speakers were located. Nick began piling thing in front of the door while Virus began to fiddle around with the cameras. After about 15 minutes or so the phone finally rang.
"Hello? Please help, there's about 15 of us here. 10 students, 5 adults; we're scared and we don't know what to do. Please help us!" A small voice on the other line pleaded.
"Where are you? What class? Where is it located?" Faith frantically screamed into the phone.
"We're in the C wing, 3rd floor computer lab... Please come quickly!" The phone suddenly hung up and the room went silent.
"Okay, we're technically in the C wing... the quickest way upstairs is to go down that hall and we can either go left, straight, or right." Faith explains, they all look out the window to examine their options, "I think two people should stay here and keep an eye out and tell us whats going on via speakers. Someone else come with me so we can go check out the survivors," they all agreed that Danny would go with Faith since Virus was sort of the weak one in the group so Nick would have to stay with him.
"Alright, lets go!" Danny licked his lips.
Faith had decided it was better to go straight since the stairs will lead then right to the lab. They ran and finally made it but was interrupted by a scream for help in the class room next to it.
"Somebody please help me! Please!" Faith looked at Danny and they both nodded, they ran to the class and opened the door.
"WAIT! IT'S A TRAP!" Virus called out but it was too late.
"No way..." Danny gasped in the back corner of the room a monster was calling out for help. It was obviously dead but somehow sound still came out of it.
"Help me! Help me! Help me!" It was almost like it was stuck on repeat, saying the same thing over and over again as it crawled towards Faith and Danny. He quickly shut the the door and turned around, but it was too late to do anything. They were cornered. The other monsters around them began limping, even pulling themselves towards the pair and closing them in.
"Damn it!" Danny opened the classroom door again and pulled Faith inside.
"Help me! Somebody help me! Please!" The room echoed with a cry for help from the monster.
"Shut up!" Danny screamed, "I'll kill you!" The monster froze and looked at him as if it were confused.
Then it slowly opened it mouth and hoarsely yelled, "I'll kill you! I'll Kill you! I'll kill you!" in Danny's voice. It was learning speech, the monsters were evolving to trick them; to lure their prey.
