Random Thoughts

Another collection of poetry.

3. Coin

Silvery and shiny

Sitting in my hand

Light as a feather

Despite it's metallic properties.

Worth so much

Yet worth so little,

To me it is special,

A treasure from the road.

I sit and stare

Wondering what to do,

What I could purchase

With this small silver coin.

Going to the shops

Tightly clutching the coin,

Not wanting to part with it

But knowing that's it's destiny.
