When you lose someone you care about nothing else matters in the world; your world becomes one big black hole, you lose all the happiness in your body, mind, soul and spirit.

At his funeral she doesn't expect to cross paths with Russell Scott

She witnesses him about to kill someone and that creates more problems in her already twisted life

Russell Scott is the most feared guy not only in their school but around the small town the live in; He has tattoos, deals, drugs, fights,
has anger issues that get him in a lot of trouble and his own skeletons in his closet.

No matter how many people tell her to stay away she just can't

4. Chapter 4

Come on Russell, you can do better than that” His instructor shouted, the veins in his neck popping

Russell hit the punching bag harder, releasing all his frustration he encountered during the week

“That’s it” His instructor spoke with satisfaction

This was always his routine before a fight or before he went out to kill more people for his boss

“Scott, boss wants to see you” One of the other instructed him and he stopped what he was doing and made his way to Chad’s office

The door was already opened, the large man who intimidated everyone but him sat behind the mahogany desk

“You wanted to see me?” Russell gruffly asked

“It’s come to my attention that someone saw you killing Calvin” He spoke “Wait, actually you let him get away while you chased the little bitch” he roared

Russell wasn’t fazed by his yelling in fact he found it amusing as to how emotional he got when it came to getting rid of someone who owed him money

“Would you rather she reported what she saw” he asked casually and Chad glared at him

“Has it been sorted?” Chad asked forgetting about the little outburst he had “I want you to get rid of her”

“I’m not going to kill a seventeen year old girl” Russell spoke with venom at his boss’s order

Chad let out a sickly chuckle and through the report on the desk and some papers fell out

Russell stepped closer and picked up a picture that had fallen with the other papers...a picture of a red head; her face held a happy expression, her green eyes shining bright, flowers surrounding her head, lips parted into a small smile

“Her name is Hayden”

“I know that” Russell snapped

“Listen you just make sure she shuts up about what she saw or we will shut her up” he threatened which did nothing for Russell because he just met her...she could smack a guy into the ER though, no one touched or messed with him and he had to admit it was a turn on when she did that.

“There’s a new club that has opened up downtown and Calvin will be there, go and finish the job” Chad ordered and Russell took that as his queue to leave.

“What did Boss want?” Mike asked lifting weights

“Just unfinished business”

“Ah, does it have anything to do with the little sexy red head?” He continued to interrogate him

Russell’s silence was enough to answer his question as he got down and did some push ups

“I’ll take that as a yes” Mike smirked and continued his workout

“Hey Boys” Marie, a woman who was known around the gym greeted them both, her gaze lingering on Russell longer than expected.

Marie always had a thing for Russell which got overwhelming because she was always in his space...she was a good fuck but that’s it.

“So uh Russell, do you want to hang out later, I’m having a barbeque later” She asked the man who was more consumed by his work out than the conversation that was about to take place

“I’m busy” he answered which made her pout and step closer, clutching his t-shirt in-between her manicured fingers

Mike found the whole situation entertaining because no matter how many times he told her no she just wouldn’t give up on the guy .It’s not that she was ugly, she was pretty; blonde hair with pink streaks, brown eyes, and bee stung lips with a very attractive body. She was just your typical slut.

“We could do something else” she whispered biting her lip

“Maybe” he answered. There was nothing wrong with casual fucking anyway she knew he didn’t do attachment.

“Perfect” she smirked “See you tonight”

“You son of a bitch” Mike laughed “I guess we are hitting club Rhys tonight”

Russell smirked,  plugged is ear phones in and started his work out from the beginning.
