They both stared aimlessly at the ceiling, none of them saying anything
“I should um go” she spoke softly still feeling a little sore in between her legs
Russell looked at her and watched as she got up slowly, flinching with every movement she made
“Do you need a ride?” he asked with a straight face
“Please” she smiled picking up her floral dress and under garments
Russell nodded and stood up, picking out some sweat pants and a grey t-shirt, he limped to his closet and picked up a pair of converse
“Your leg is still in pain?” she asked while buttoning her dress
“Yeah, let’s go” he answered grabbing his keys and walking out
Hayden rolled her eyes and followed behind him but ran into his back when he stopped
“why-” she was about to ask why he stopped but she quickly shut up when she noticed Elliot, Marie, Nikkei and Mike sitting in the kitchen eating...how long had they been there?
“Hi” Elliot smirked seeing her cheeks turn pink, did they know?
“Such a beautiful afternoon, wouldn’t you agree Elliot?” Mike asked stuffing more pizza into his mouth
“Why yes Mike, a good one for some afternoon sex” he replied and Hayden quietly prayed that a large hole would appear and swallow her up
“Oh God” she mumbled, hiding behind Russell who found the entire situation amusing with a stupid arrogant smirk on his face
“We didn’t have sex” she said quickly
“Why is your hair also wet?” Mike asked raising an eyebrow at the small redhead who barely reached his chest
“I –I well”
“Just admit it honey, we’ve all been there” Marie smirked, looking at Russell up and down like a piece of meat. Bitch.
“Stop” It only took that one word from Russell and they all kept quiet but the smile on Mike’s face remained perfectly intact
“Why are you here?” he asked them
“We are gonna go paint balling”
“I need to take her home first”
“Why doesn’t she just come with?” he asked
“I don’t want to intrude”
“Yeah she has to get home” Russell cut in not even looking at her
“Oh come on, It will be fun” Elliot wined ignoring the glare he was receiving from Russell
“Can I go home and change first?” she asked, her voice becoming small
“Yeah we can all go with you” Mike suggested
Just when she thought she wouldn’t have to see them until Monday she manages to land herself in their programme.
Hayden was holding Russell’s gun while he pulled off his jumpsuit, exposing the grey t-shirt he had been wearing underneath. Hayden watched him tie the sleeves round his waist, his athletic arms tensing while he did so.
“Isn’t that dangerous?” she asked thinking of the painful impact of the paintball on his now vest-less shirt.
Russell turned to her and picked up his gun. “It’s only dangerous if you get shot, I’ll be fine.”
“Are you sure-” Hayden said, giving him a doubtful look, while her eyes looked him up and down.
“Don’t worry about it” Russell said while he fixed the knot on his boot.
Hayden fixed her hair, tightening her laces. “Let’s go” she said afterwards.
“I think we should go-” Hayden turned to say but Russell wasn’t behind her, he was aiming at Elliot who was running around. He shot him, and pulled Hayden over to where he was standing.
“Yeah,” Russell said looking at Hayden who was so close to him, she could smell the gum he had been eating. Hayden smiled at him, and his brows were furrowed, giving him a playful kiss.
Russell pressed her up against the barrier they were behind, dropping his gun while his strong hands found her waist; the feeling of being in his grasp was driving her insane. He kissed her heavily, his lips taking hers quickly.
Hayden was still holding her gun at the side of her, and moved one hand to the back of his neck. Her lips enjoyed the seductive touch of his, until he turned his head, picking up his gun. “Hayden,” he said looking at her, his grey eyes finding hers while hers were still wandering about. “We better get a move on.”
Hayden felt like a kid whose favourite toy had just been taken away. She reluctantly pulled away from the barrier and followed Russell, who took her hand and was pulling her towards the bushes.
Hayden and Russell walked around, rolling in dry grass, and walking through tall grass. The game finally came to an end after an hour or so.
Everyone was shot, except Elliot, who had won after shooting Russell.
Russell and Hayden were in a shed which had an old mustang parked inside and she went over to him, sitting next to him. He pulled off her boots for her. When he was done, he pulled her up, unzipping her jumpsuit, exposing the green t-shirt and white shorts she was wearing underneath.
They hadn’t gotten a chance to talk about the night before but he played it cool but she was going crazy
“Did you and Marie date?” she asked while he pulled her jumpsuit down ignoring the jealousy creeping into her heart
“Yeah” was his answer
She couldn’t help but feel like he was trying to distance himself from her.
She did something daring and kissed him hard leaving no room for him to protest. She pulled him closer by his t-shirt; there was just something that she enjoyed when she kissed him
The kiss quickly escalated into something hot and passionate as his tongue thrust into her mouth making her moan
His large hands lifted her on to the old car’s bonnet and opened her legs wider so that he had more room
When the shed door opened Russell pulled away, standing as far away from her as he could and Hayden readjusted herself.
Was he embarrassed of her?
