Someone Else

I suddenly heard a knock at the door. I ran to answer it. It was Matt.

"Hey Matt, listen. I have to still get ready. I'll explain later. Just give me 30 minutes." I said as I greeted him

"Sure. No big deal." He said with his boyish smile.

I ran to the bathroom to put on my foundation, concealer, eye liner, and mascara. I turned on my straightener and then I ran to my room to get dressed. I put on my floral dress and my black wedges. Then I went back to the bathroom to quickly fix my hair. I finally walked out.

Matt was standing right in front of me. He got down on one knee. "Sadie Nicole McKinley, you are the most beautiful person I know. You understand me so well. Will you do the honors of being my wife?" He said as he pulled out the ring.

"Oh my God! YES OF COURSE I WILL!!" He got off the ground and picked me up. He twirled me around and kissed me. He really knew how to make me feel like the only girl in the world.

"So what about that date?" I said as I winked.
