Chapter 4

As I ran down the hallway my head was bursting with questions.

'How should I greet her' I kept thinking, 'should I say hello mam or just hello, after all she is only my best friends mother, but then if I don't make a good impression, I won't get the job and I won't get to see Rebekah any more, oh my what should I-

"Lily!!!A loud voice called joyfully, interrupting my thoughts and I snapping me back into reality, I then realised that I was running strait towards to door.

I ran head first into the door, knocking down the coat stand, which knocked over the clock, which knocked over a statue, which knocked a painting on the wall, which then knocked over a vase on top of the large, old, mahogany bookshelf which spilt all over Madam Beatrice.

"Lily!!!" She screamed (not quite so joyfully this time).

"Oh Madam Beatrice I'm so sorry," I ran over to try and help her up. Rebekah was standing at the bottom of the stairs, as red as a tomato, trying to holdback her laughter, I shit her a warning glance.

"Don't mind me get the door!" She shouted , "but bring her round the back, I don't want her seeing this mess, I nodded and ran to the door. I only opened it a sliver, slipped out and left Rebekah to deal with the soaking wet and furious Madam Beatrice, shutting the door behind me.
