14. Chapter 14

Taylor’s POV

Louis and I had a long discussion about his health. Finally, we agreed it was for the better, and we’d have the boys over often. Louis quickly told Liam he was going to make an offer on the house, then went into his room. I followed him to get ready for bed.

“It’s a nice house,” I said.

“Everything will be fine, Taylor. I really like this house,” Louis said, not looking up from his computer.

“Shouldn’t we look at the house first?” I asked.

“There’s an open house tomorrow. Would you like to go?”

“Yes, that would work. Should we bring the boys along?”

“No, this is our house.”

“Oh, okay.” I helped Louis get into bed after he put his laptop down, and then gave him the computer back so he could call the real estate agent.

We entered the house with the real estate agent showing us around.

“This place is huge!” Louis exclaimed, a big smile dancing on his lips.

“Can you let us look around a bit and discuss some things?” Lily asked. The agent nodded in return.

“Yell if you need anything!” she said, walking over to another couple looking around. There actually weren’t so many people there; just us, two families, and one couple.

“Wow! Look at that pool!” Liam said, pointing out the window. Louis’ smile brightened even more.

“Sweet! Look at that telly!” Louis exclaimed. “Let’s go check out that pool!” Off went the boys, racing to the pool as fast as they could push themselves.

“This house is pretty cool,” I said to Lily.

“Yeah. Should we make an offer?” she asked.

“Let’s let the boys make that decision. It is a two story house, so we’ll have to sleep on the first floor, but when the boys visit, they can sleep upstairs. We can move up there when they’re better,” I answer.
