Lily’s POV
Taylor told me that Louis was coming back to the hospital because of his wound. I looked at Liam and he was sleeping, peacefully. I walked over and moved some hair out of his face. I left him a note and went searching for Taylor. No one knew where she was but they knew that she was back with Louis.
“Excuse me, have you seen Taylor Bay?” I asked the receptionist.
She typed something into the computer and then typed in a phone number. She was talking to someone for a few minutes.
“Ms. Bay is in the emergency corridors, but shes coming over to this wing,” the receptionist told me.
I thanked her and waited in a chair. I could hear someone yelling down the hallway, but it was just a man that was recovering from a terrible car accident. Blood was all over his body and I could see that he was missing part of his leg.
“Lily...you need me?” Taylor said behind me.
“I just thought that you would need me because of what happened to Louis…”
She started balling and I embraced her into a sisterly hug. Everyone stared at us like we were weird, but then realised that we were the Bay twins. A patient was wheeling themselves down the hallway, as I was taking Taylor to Liam’s room.
“Lily!” Liam yelled.
It turned out that he was the one in the wheelchair, he was wondering where I went. I had written a note but I guess he didn't see it. Taylor was still upset but she had calmed down. Dr. Lan walked into the room, as I was helping Liam back into the bed.
“Good morning girls. It seems like I have to make sure that Liam’s wound doesn’t do the same thing that Louis’s did.”
“Okay...how is Louis Dr. Lan?” I said, as I spoke for Taylor.
“He’s stable. We found out, that some of the medicine that we gave him, didn’t help his wound at all, it made him sick. The infection will go away and I think the medicine that he was given was old and not good for patients.”
“Why do you think that Dr. Lan?”
“I checked the bottle and it expired a few months ago.”
“What nurse was on call?”
“Nurse….Bronx. Nurse Bronx.”
I actually remember that nurse. It was the nurse that was tending to Liam, yesterday afternoon.
