After staying several hours in the front office picking my classes and listening to Headmaster Maggie tell me more about everything, I left through the entrance of the front office. I had already said my goodbyes to my Mom, but since she was staying nearby in a hotel, I knew I would get to say goodbye to her tomorrow morning.
I looked at the list of my classes as I walked across the courtyard. Some of the classes were pretty normal, like Math and English.
First period, I had Algebra II.
Second period, I had English.
Third period, I had Study Hall.
Fourth period, I had Alchemy.
Fifth period, I had History of Magic and Creatures.
Sixth period, I had Specials Class.
And finally, seventh period, I had Study of Mythological Creatures.
I placed the list in my backpack, before going towards the direction where I thought the dorm was. I knew I could get easily lost in this campus, since it was quite big.
It was already dark outside, the only thing I had to see was lights around the walkways of the courtyard. I felt sort of nervous, since I knew the vampires had probably already started class. I heard giggles up above, causing me to immediately look up.
I saw two girls running across the hallway upstairs, giggling and talking to each other as they tried to hurry up and get to class. I found myself staring at them, realizing they were vampires. They seemed normal, however their skin was abnormally pale and their eyes were either a red or golden color.
It must have been cool to have night classes.
As the courtyard grew deathly silent, because I was the only one there, I made my way down the walkway until I found myself in between two buildings, across an alley. I groaned once I found out that it was a dead end.
Oh no, I was lost. And the only students who were awake besides me were the vampires.
I spun around and exited the alley, hopelessly trying to look around for the dorms. My luck turned even worse once I heard footsteps coming nearby.
I backed up against the wall, trying to keep quiet. The last thing I wanted was to bump into a vampire. What if they tried to suck all of my blood? Nobody would know what happened until the morning. I shuddered and cowered against the wall, my eyes turning green.
I heard a low chuckle as the footsteps stopped.
I gasped as the figure revealed itself. Immediately, I was looking into the gaze of the person that I expected to see last.
I stared at him with both confusion and fear. I didn’t know what he was doing out at night. But then I realized he was a Royal. Hell, they could probably do anything they wanted. I don’t know if seeing him was a relief or even worse than bumping into a vampire. He was even more dangerous than a vampire, he could snap my neck in a second if he wanted to. Or eat me.
“Don’t worry. I’m not a vampire, if that’s who you were expecting. Although, werewolves are as dangerous as vampires. So I guess you’re unlucky either way,” He mused, stepping closer to me.
When he stepped closer, I edged closer towards the wall. I was basically trapped. I mean, I could run if I wanted to, but he would probably catch me in seconds.
“Are you going to eat me…?” I breathed, realizing how stupid I sounded. However, my voice was laced with fear.
He laughed. His laugh sounded different than I expected. I thought it would sound cold and menacing, however it sounded light and genuine. It made my heart slightly flutter. His laugh sounded beautiful. Everything about him was gorgeous.
I inwardly growled at my thoughts. How could I be thinking of that when he was staring at me like prey?
“You’re an interesting girl,” He smirked, his eyes staring at me like they did before. “I’m not going to eat you, beautiful. Royals don’t eat humans. They’re not…as appetizing for us.” He explained.
I was about to breathe a sigh of relief, until I realized he called me beautiful. I didn’t know whether to be flattered, happy, or confused. Why would he call me that?
Did you…just call..?” I found myself stuttering, as he stepped even closer to me. I held in my breath as he put his face inches away from mine, staring at my face before averting his gaze to my neck and collarbone. I felt myself blush, and I tried to avoid his gaze so he wouldn’t see my expression.
“Did I just call you what, beautiful?” He slowly placed his lips on my neck, before pressing his body against mine. I felt a bulge press against my lower region, which caused me to gasp. I suddenly realized that the bulge was coming from his pants.
Was he aroused by me..?
“What are you doing?” I demanded, trying to get away from him. However, he held my body against the wall. He growled as he continued to kiss my neck, leaving me confused and breathless at the same time. I didn’t know whether to be angry or happy that a gorgeous Prince was here kissing my neck and holding me against the wall.
“Let go of me,” I snapped, until a loud moan escaped from my lips as he kissed my sweet spot. I silently cursed myself.
Once he heard my moan, he inhaled with pleasure. “God, I can’t help myself. I’ve been wanting you since the first time I saw you standing out in the grass beside the walkway,” He muttered.
“Please, let me go.” I helplessly whined, trying to push him away with my hands. He growled, and shoved me against the wall even harder. I whimpered in pain.
“No. You’re mine.” He hissed, his expression turning violent. From the corner of my eye I could faintly see the bright moon lighting up the night.
I continued to try to struggle from his grip, however I knew it was no use. It was like trying to fight with a brick wall. His rippling muscles were hard as stone. I bit my lip and tried to look the other way, my gaze feeling frightened and helpless. He brought his lips up to the crook of my neck, before taking in a deep inhale.
“Hold still,” He ordered, which somehow made me go limp. Once he bit down on my neck, hard, I cried out in pain and tried to struggle again. However, the second the pain faded away, pleasure mixed with happiness filled my body.
I went limp again, gasping with delight. My head went dizzy as my whole body exploded with unexplainable happiness. My neck felt numb and my eyes slowly began to flutter close as my head continued to spin. I fell to the side, but then I felt strong arms catching me as I fell, before everything started to go black.
“Colin,” I whispered.
I heard words being muttered, but I couldn’t hear them as I was sent into a world of darkness from my vision being engulfed in black.
