I waited for Neville for an hour before he finally came back, I spent the majority of the time looking at the books he had on his bookshelf and playing his large black piano that was in the corner of the room.
"I didn't know you could play." He said from behind me causing me to jump.
I felt myself blush "Oh yeah." I said.
"I want to take you somewhere."
"Where?" I asked.
"Hogsmeade." He simply stated.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because you need a gown for the ball."
I smiled and stood up from the piano stool then walked to my dorm where I changed into some black skinny jeans and a mustard coloured jumper, I slipped on my creepers and walked out into the corridor where Neville was waiting for me and followed him out of the castle grounds to a village. I looked around at the old cottages and shops "It's beautiful." I told him.
"I know." He smiled taking my hand in his.
We first walked into a little shop that sold occasion clothes I looked through the dresses while Neville looked at the suites after a while Neville came to help me look at dresses.
"What about this one?" Neville asked picking out a strapless dress with black feathers at the chest and a deep green skirt with black net over the top.
I looked at him and smiled "I'll try it on." I said before walking into the changing room and putting it on.
I looked in the mirror and decided that it was definitely the one. I took it off and put my normal clothes back on.
"I wanted to see you in it." Neville whined sticking his bottom lip out when I walked out of the changing room.
"Tough." I said taking the dress up to the counter.
"That will be 40 Galleons." The woman at the shop stated.
Neville quickly gave the woman the money before I managed to get my purse from my pocket.
"Neville!" I shouted "You didn't have to pay for me."
He smiled "I did."
"Where to now?" I asked walking out of the shop with a large bag containing my dress in my hand.
"We could go and get some exploding lemonade" Neville suggested taking my hand in his.
"Exploding lemonade?" I asked shocked and confused.
"Maybe just a coffee or something at Madame Puddifoots then?"
I nodded and then we made our way to the little tea shop and sat at a table inside.
"I'll order, what d'ya want?"
I shrugged "Just coffee." I smiled at him before he walked to a woman at a counter.
He came back 5 minutes later with 2 cups of coffee and a large heart shaped cookie.
"A heart shaped cookie?" I asked laughing.
He nodded "For you."
I broke it in half and gave half to Neville "For both of us."
We nibbled on the cookie and sipped our coffee while we chatted about useless things until we were done. We then walked outside and I light a cigarette looking around.
"Is that Mcgonagall?" I asked looking at the woman walking around.
"Shit." Neville muttered under his breath before taking my arm and running "she can't see that I took you here."
I ran with him until we reached an old looking building "In the shrieking shack." He said taking me closer to it until we walked in.
We sat down on the stairs panting and trying to get our breaths back.
"This is supposed to be haunted you know." He told me.
I shrugged "Big deal, we have a nearly headless and a moaning ghost at school."
Neville laughed and looked at me, he leaned in closer and closer our lips only centimetres apart "See you... Later." He said just like I did to him that time when I sat on his desk before standing up and making his way back to Hogwarts.
"Neville you bastard!" I shouted running to catch up with him.
