7. Finding Hollie
Emma pushed through the thick bracken and hacked away at the brambles "Bit of a pain in the arse to get to but it's worth it" She ducked under a low branch and muttered,
"Mind your he-"
Ruth clutched her now throbbing head and followed Emma through the gap whilst listening to Dante's low chuckles from behind. She turned to face him and scowled, but a small smile crept across her face as she looked at him, the sharp, crystal eyes boring into her own.
"Here we are" Emma stood up and put her hands on her hips whilst Dante and Ruth came and stood by her side, their backs aching from being crouched for so long. Emma strode off and leaped onto a branch, swinging her legs and looking at them. "Well, what d'ya think?" Her crocodile-like smile spread across her face as she stretched out.
"Not bad, it'll do for tonight, and it's so densely covered in prickly things that no walker can get in without being impaled and getting stuck" Dante looked up at the canopy and back at Ruth. His expression darkened "But we can't stay for long"
Suddenly, there was a shout from high in the tree as something fell out. The shape of a young girl.
