"Líadan, time to wake up, the plane's about to land," Niall says softly as he shakes me awake.
"I hate sleeping on planes. Now my neck is stiff," I say while rubbing the back of my neck.
"You always have a stiff neck. Don't blame it on the plane," Niall laughs and pulls me up.
"I don't wanna move," I groan and he only laughs.
"Carry my bag?" I ask trying to look as helpless as I can.
"Only for you," he says grinning as he gets our carry-ons from the compartment above us.
"We should probably get off now," I say looking at the now empty plane we occupy.
"Yeah we should. Let's head to baggage claim," Niall suggests as we make our way off the plane.
"Guys! Oh my god I missed you!" Matt says as he spots us.
"Matt!" I say about to hug him but then remember his collapsed lung.
"Should you be the one picking us up? You know with your lung and all," I ask gesturing to his lung.
"Yeah it's fine. I had to practically beg mum but she's too busy with funeral plans to do anything else," his face falls as he mentions the funeral.
"She must be so stressed. Anyway, how's school going?" I ask as we walk towards baggage claim.
"You act like I'm your younger brother. Don't forget, I'm four minutes older than you," he reminds me and Niall laughs.
"I've missed the witty banter between the two of you," Niall says grinning as we reach baggage claim.
"It's not even witty yet," Matt laughs as Niall grabs for his bag and misses.
"Matt that's my bag! Grab it!" I say gesturing to my TARDIS suitcase.
"No! I'm the one with the collapsed lung!" He says and I sigh. He never let's me be lazy.
"I got it," Niall says and before I can protest he has my bag in hand.
"You did well with my bag, you should probably try your own again," I say taking my bag from him.
"Got it!" He cheers as he picks up his plain luggage.
"Want to get lunch before we go home?" Matt asks.
"Of course. Let's just put our stuff in the car," I say as we get to Matt's Volvo.
"Wanna just eat here, in the airport?" Niall asks. He's obviously quite hungry.
"Yeah that's fine. Let's roll."
After we order our food we catch up on each other's lives, mostly Matt's.
He is newly single, it's sad how little I knew about his life. He was seeing a girl, Anne, for six months and I'd never even heard of her.
They broke up three weeks ago but he seems pretty over it which is good.
Maybe I could set him up with someone? Oh wait, I only recently made friends that are girls and they're all dating my "boyfriend's" bandmates.
I became almost friends with Little Mix. Jade and I hit it off when we met and I text her sometimes. She complains about not having a boyfriend so maybe I could set her up with Matt.
"You guys have a big birthday coming up! 20 years old!" Niall says enthusiastically. I've never been big on birthdays, it's just not as special for me because I have to share it with Matt.
"Yeah but it's not a big deal," I shrug it off as they continue to discuss our birthday.
*Hey Lí, sorry to interrupt your family time but management is having me tweet that we're a couple. Just thought you should know.*
I read the the text from Harry over a few times trying to make sense of it.
"What's wrong?" Niall asks when he notices my distraught expression.
"Um Harry and I have been discussing going public with management so he's tweeting about us now," I only slightly lie.
"I'm lost. I know Harry is part of One Direction but are you dating him or something?" Matt asks confused.
"Yeah I am," I answer. Lying to Matt is difficult. He's my twin for years we basically shared a mind, then we went on different paths but we can still read each other.
"Oh I just thought you and Niall would, you know," Matt says awkwardly and Niall looks down blushing.
"How do you get a boyfriend anyway?" Matt asks making the conversation less awkward.
"Shut up! Harry's great, you get to meet him when we're back in London," I say smiling.
"Here's your food. Sorry for the wait," our waiter says coming over to us with our meals.
"Thank you. It looks great," I say politely.
"Careful, the plate is hot too," the waiter says smirking at me.
"Too?" I ask confused my his statement.
He then puts a hand on my shoulder and makes a sizzling sound before walking back to the kitchen smirking.
"What was that? Since when do guys have a thing for you?" Matt asks in disbelief.
"People are attracted to success. You wouldn't know that," I fire back at him.
"Shut up and eat your food," Matt says not wanting to go back and forth until he's finished his food.
"I'll pay," I say as I take out my wallet.
"This is why I keep you around," Matt says lenaning back as I put the money on the table.
"Sure it is. Anyway, when is your lung supposed to be better?" I ask as we get up from the table and exit the airport.
"I think it's better now but it's not officially better for another two days," Matt informs us.
Niall hasn't spoken since I said Harry and I were going public. I don't understand why.
I'm in love with her, I know that for sure now. Now that she and Harry are public it's just making everything so real. Rose and I went public a while ago but that didn't make a difference in the way I feel like it does now.
Management is going to be upset with me for ending things with Rose. They only let me go public with her so quickly because I said we would be together for a while but now look what's happening.
How am I supposed to have Líadan for myself when she's with Harry. I can't hurt my best mate and take his girl away but I need to.
Even Matt thinks Lí and I belong together. I just have to find a way to show her.
