In the morning, I saw how everyone had picked up weapons and I saw that they charged them with shots. I was almost shocked, but Harry grinned quickly towards me.
"Are you going to be with Niall, this is only a mall part of it all."
Niall reached up and kissed me lightly.
"We'll get to do some business today." he muttered, looking down at my dress. "If you want, you can come along, honey, and see what I do on my job."
"Does that mean that you are going to kill someone?"
Niall smiled and stroked me quickly over my back. He pushed me towards him and kissed me again. This time he used his tongue and I noted that everyone looked at us.
"We'll see!" he groaned when he had finished the kiss. "I would rather have been in the bedroom with you."
We went out on the street and everyone put down the weapons so they wasn't visible. Niall had two revolver in his pants and he quickly took my hand.
"Now we go away and no one does anything without my permission."
I swallowed and followed him. It felt silly to go on a unique troop, but I saw how people followed us with their eyes. I wasn't sure if I was proud of my choice of boyfriend or not. It felt so weird to hang out with them.
Niall went straight to a pub. He opened the door and let me go in first. It was a sleepy old pub and only a few guests were drinking beer there. Niall pulled me up to the counter and the others spread out in the room. Pub owner was startled, but he came up to us.
"I paid last month!" he mumbled and gave me a quick glance. Niall nodded and didn't let go of my hand.
"But now it so that you will pay each month."
The man waved his arms and pointed around the room.
"I have hardly any guests and business goes bad. Will you have the money, you will be sure not to scare them."
Niall sighed and looked around the room. He then looked at the owner again.
"We can make a deal?"
He swallowed and looked at Niall.
Niall smiled cold and leaning easily against him.
"One, you can give me half the pub and I promise you'll get more money and more guests. Two, we make an end to your suffering and I will kill you here and now?"
The man blinked.
Niall took up a revolver, pointed it at him and loaded it.
"Two choices, and you have five seconds to say yes or no."
I wanted to back away, but Niall was holding my hand tightly. I watched as the man began to sweat, and he raised both hands in the air.
"But I lose!"
Niall shook his head quickly.
"You win more time to spend with your cute little wife and your little children."
Niall began the countdown and when he came to one, shouted pub owner.
"Okay, I'll go along with it, but then you can't keep on threatening me."
Niall laughed with satisfaction, secured the weapon and put it in the pants again.
"It's always nice to do business with you and I promise you that you will be satisfied."
I was scared when we got out on the street.
"What would you do if he said no?"
Niall smiled and looked at me with his blue eyes. He was amused and I saw that he loved the work he did.
"You know the answer, baby!"
I got scared.
"So you had to kill him?"
Liam came up behind me and laughed a little cold.
"She's afraid now?"
Niall gave him a quick glance and then looked thoughtfully at me.
"If you are afraid you will be scared for the rest of your life. You must learn to tolerate a little and you wont see it as a homicide. Some people just have be cleared out of the way. So it is and so it will always be."
I don't know if I liked what he did to people. One side of me wanted to be with him, but I was assigned. My second opinion was that it was wrong to kill.
We ate food at a restaurant and I saw right away that even that owner had respect for Niall. He came up and sucked up for us. Niall ordered food and then pulled me close to him.
"You'll get used to it." he whispered and kissed me on the cheek. Then he looked at the others. "So we now own half of the pub! Liam, you may write the contract."
Liam nodded and smiled at him.
"And how are we going to do to get more people to go to the pub?"
Niall laughed a little bit and looked at him happily.
"Isn't it enough that we spread out that I own the pub? Everyone will go there and I promise you that at the next turn of the month, the pub are going to prosper."
