The rest of the week I was doing checks on who was in the cold blooded fire through the MIAA and also what type of jobs they do, if they do any jobs. It does take a lot of skill to be aloud to do a job, even small ones. It turned out that all of my unit are still there except now Matt Rowland is the commander not me. He was my second in command and I did expect his rank to go up when I left, but it's still annoying how they stole my name for us and then replaced me. But now the unit does small and medium special ops that generally involve sneak attacks or assassinations. Sort of suites their name.
I couldn't wait to go. I had my bags packed the night Solemon told us we were going. I also packed some of my own artillery. I always hated the camps guns, so now I bring my own.
And now it's finally Friday and PE specialist class is leaving this afternoon but seems I have a slightly different schedule in leaving at the start of the day, at 5am, with Solemon, in his car. Fun, NOT!!! Even if he is like a brother to me, 5 hours in a car with one of your teachers is no what I wanted for my Friday. But I guess that I have to put u with it, I just hope that Solemon's not a complete loser.
"So what do you normally do on a road trip, even a small one?" I ask Solemon begging that he doesn't just sit there.
"To tell you the truth, I put the radio up really loud so that when I sing like a lunatic I cant hear how terrible I am at singing."
"Thank god you're not as boring as so many others. What do you listen to?"
"Normally what ever is on my usual station." And Solemon changed the station to, what I'm guessing, is his normal station and I brightened as soon as I heard the song, airplanes by B.O.B.
"Oh my god, I love this song, plus I know all of the rap too." I would've humped up and down if I could but I'm in a car so can't really.
"You're not the only one." Solemon stated with a smirk on his face waiting for the realization to hit me.
"Oh my god. You know it all too don't you?" Solemon just nodded. "Ok, you've officially become 10 times cooler." Guess 5 years isn't such a big gap.
We continued to sing along and rap to what ever song came on the radio and it turned out to be the top 50 in the charts. It actually wasn't that bad but I still couldn't wait to get out of the god damn car.
