1. Why Did He Have To Leave?
Hurt. Pain. Death. Harry. Blood. Bullet. God. Why did my Haz have to be the one at the store? Why couldn’t have been me? Harry didn’t deserve to die. He was a good person. My best friend. My love interest. But now, he’s dead. He was shot. At Wal-Mart. I didn’t get to tell him about anything. I didn’t even get to tell him goodbye.
“Lou, I know it hurts and I know we said we wouldn’t be One Direction without him, but, do you think he’d want you to sit around, hurting, not doing what you both loved?” Liam asks at the funeral. They had closed the casket so we couldn’t see him. They knew I would go mental without him, but seeing him, it would be me in a casket next. I thought about everything Harry and I had done together and broke down again. A guy about the same age as Haz came up to me.
“It’ll be fine. He’s in a better place now.” The boy said in a voice that was just like Harry’s. My heart broke.
“Who are you? How do you know him?” I ask, wondering if this could have been “Love” from Harry’s phone contacts. I wonder if this could have been Harry’s boyfriend and he never told me. No, it couldn’t be. I’m the one acting like Harry and I were in a relationship.
“Umm… My name is… Ryan… er… Ryan Cottontail.” He stutters. His stutter is just as beautiful as Harry’s. I look at him and smile.
“Oh. So you’re his boyfriend.” He says. My heart broke into even more pieces. Did he go around telling people that we were together?
“Boyfriend…?He told you we were together?"
