This world used to be normal until the very day something happened… someone got bit by something so monstrous that no one could describe what was happening and it spread like the black plague and slowly everyone around them began to die and turn into those monsters Katie could remember what the world used to be like before the disease hit people walked the streets continuing with their lives, celebrities and singers were the ideal gossip and Katie was a scientist.
Katie walked the bushes her long brown hair let down and she was covered in mud not to mention blood she stomped through the camp flopping down on the small log that was set out around the fire in the camp studying the group that was busy regardless of the situation they were all in.
Katie studied Carol, a short lady maybe in her mid-30’s with short gray hair and a small figure she was hanging up clothes while her husband Ed a tall, gangly bloke watched her and they’re daughter I think who was 10 sat and played with Carl, Lori’s son.
Lori was from some small town Katie had trouble remembering but then why did she have to remember things when all she could think about was one thing. Lori had been married before this apocalypse she had said his name was Rick and he was the town’s sheriff who had been shot a month before this whole thing happened Lori had come here with Shane Walsh who was Rick’s best friend and also a deputy sheriff, but even Katie had noticed that there was something there something that everyone else was failing to notice.
Dale someone maybe in his mid-50’s was a small man who always wore a fishing hat and stuck to his RV he was a nice man but always knew how to get under everyone’s skin even when he knew it pissed you off he wasn’t scared of it.
Daryl and Merle Dixon both trouble, Merle repeating flirted with Katie trying to get in bed with her Merle was an ex-marine and was currently here with his little brother aka Daryl Katie couldn’t tell you much about them because she hardly knew anything about the Dixon brothers.
Andrea and Amy as far as Katie knew Andrea used to be a lawyer in Atlanta; Amy was her younger sister maybe 18 or 19 Andrea probably in her 20’s or 30’s.
Katie could go one forever describing T-Dog, Glenn, and Jacqui but it could go one forever all had something that stood out and made them unique in their own way.
Katie poked the fire with a stick she had picked up during her small scout and kept the fire going for what seemed like ages finally someone sat beside Katie and Katie looked up studying Dale his arms now folded she chuckled and poked at the fire again a slight spark igniting in the dark sky.
“How are you?” Dale asked her breaking the silence between his daughter and him she kicked the fire not caring about the stinging sensation that hit her leg.
“Ya don’t need to keep lookin after me I’m not Mom.” She said standing up and walking into the RV, slamming the door behind her leaving Dale sitting there surprised.
Long John Silver walked through the forest, his sword tucked away safely but he was ready to get it out if a bunch of Fleshes came at him.
“Try and find supplies.” He said mocking Bonny Anne. “Can’t get her bloody hands dirty she doesn’t even kill the Fleshes I do all the dirty work John do this do that.”
John had been walking all morning tired on his feet but he still didn’t give up cutting through tree’s he could have sworn he heard something in automatic instincts he hid behind a tree gripping the sword even more it got closer and Long John held his breathe as his heart began to beat against his chest and the sweat formed on his brow this was it life or death.
Just as he peeked from the left, John heard a click come from his right taking a gulp and a deep breathe he turned around and saw a girl probably no older than 23 or 24 a gun now facing him and she was aiming it at him.
“If you move I’ll blow up your brains up” She said.
“That sounds a lot merciful than scary.” John said reaching to lower the gun but it only seemed to piss the girl off more putting his hand back awkwardly she gestured to the tree but kept the gun aimed at him. “Where are you going?”
“Supplies.” He said taken aback by this girl’s fierceness.
“I’m sorry.” She said and before Long John could say anything she hit him over the head with her gun and watched as he dropped to the ground sitting him up she took the strap off her pants and tied his arms with it.
“Hey Daryl!” She called.
