It had been a week since Harry helped me in the hallway and I hadn't seen him since. Even though we only talked for about ten minutes, he was the only person who gave me hope that there might actually be some kind of hope in the world. That morning was the first morning that I woke-up in a week, not motivated. I just told myself that he was gone and to stop looking for him.
I walked down the stairs to see my mom drinking coffee at the table. This was when I realized that it was a P.A day. I ran upstairs and through off my uniform. I looked inside of my closet and grabbed a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, and my white lace top. I through on a hot pink hoody and put my hair into a messy bun. I looked at myself in my full length mirror and thought out loud, " If it weren't for these thick, ugly glasses I would actually look normal." I laughed at the thought and slipped my feet into my hot pink converse.
I sat on the floor in my room for what felt like forever. I finally got up and went down stairs. As I expected my mom was still at the table drinking her coffee. I laughed at her slowness and said," Hey mom, I'm going to go for a walk to the park."
She looked at me and smiled in that motherly way she always did and said, " Okay sweet heart, just be back before lunch." I nodded my head as if I as saying "Okay" to her and I walked out of the door.
The weather outside was abnormally gorgeous for that time of year and it smelled of freshly cut grass, and the rain from the day before. The light wind felt refreshing against my uncovered skin and the sun was shining brightly in the clear blue sky.
It took me approximately 20 minutes to walk to the park that day because I was relaxed and preoccupied by the surroundings that were unfolding in front of me. No one was at the park when I got there, so I slowly dragged my feet towards the swing set and slowly started to swing.
All of a sudden, I heard laughing coming from the trees in the back of the park. I got off of the swing that I was gently swinging on and walked toward the trees. I walked through the centre of the pine trees not caring about the scratches that I would get. All that I cared about was seeing who was behind the trees.
I finally made it behind the trees and I froze on the spot when I saw who it was. It was him. My hope. My strength. My courage. It was Harry. He wasn't alone though. He was with four other boys. He looked at me shocked. I said, " Sorry, I heard laughing and my curiosity got the best of me."
Harry gave me a friendly smile and said " It's okay love, I just didn't expect you to ever dress like that. You look nice. The lads and I were just playing football you want to play?"
I looked at him shocked and realized he didn't think I was a creepy stocker. I smiled widely and said, " I'd love to play." Then I looked at the other four boys and said, " Hello, I'm Julia."
A boy with swishy brown hair and a striped t-shirt walked up to me and said, " Hello love, I'm Louis Tomlinson. It is very nice to meet you." I smiled at him.
Then a boy with blond hair, and blue eyes walked up to me and said in an Irish accent. " Hi, I'm Niall Horan. Do you like foot ball?"
I raise an eyebrow at him. " I live in the UK. Of coarse I love playing Football." He laughed at me with reddened cheeks.
Then a very mature looking boy walked up to me and said. " Hi, I'm Liam. " He held out his hand for a shake and I excepted politely then he stood with the other boys.
The last one strutted towards me and said, " Hi, I'm Zayn. You look quite fit , maybe we can hang out sometime. If you know what I mean?"
I didn't mean to be rude to him but I couldn't help myself. I started laughing uncontrollably in his face. After my laughing fit I replied winded, " Yes, I do know what you me, but that would never happen. Plus, you can't just go up to a girl and call her fit, then expect her to go out with you."
He smirked wickedly, and whispered in my ear. " I never said anything about going out." I looked at Zayn disgusted and pulled my phone out of the back pocket of my jeans. Zayn immediately stole my phone and started messing around with it. He passed it to the other boys, and then handed it back to me. I guessed that they put there numbers in my phone so I didn't say anything.
I checked the phone for the time and it read 11:55. I only had 5 Minutes to get home. I said "bye" to the boys and I started running at full sprint to my house.
By the time I got home it was 12:03 and my mom was already eating lunch at the table. She smiled wide at me and said," Did you have a nice walk sweet heart?" I nodded my head. She continued. " That's good, Did anything eventful happen?"
I smiled at her and said " No, just the normal things. The park was really dead today." She smiled at me and didn't question a thing. If she would have ever find out that I had friends that were boys, she would have been angry. After all, my dad took advantage of my mom when she was 17 and then ran away when he found out she was pregnant. She would have lock me in my room and never let me out in fear of me getting hurt. That is why she never found out.
