2. The small note
When I came back to the wrecked house I went straight to the kitchen and got a chocolate croissant. I would normally like it better it warmer but I couldn't use the toaster so I just gave up. I went to the living because I liked to eat there. When I sat down on the couch, I noticed that there was small piece of paper. I picked it up and read it. A tear rolled down my cheek when I quickly scanned the letter with my two eyes.
" Dear Starla,
We don't want to do this to you this but we wouldn't be back for probably as long as you live. But don't worry about us. We know that you can live without us. "
I mumbled "what the- " but the words didn't come out. I scrunched the paper up and walked up to the garbage can, raised my right hand with the letter in it, and was halfway through to smashing the letter into the garbage can but turned around and tossed it on to the coffee table. I was wondering what to do like the time when I noticed that I was the only one left on earth. Then I clenched my fist really hard and started walking up to my parent's room. I first started looking through their clothes closet and took all of the boxes out.
