9. If you jump, I'll jump
Summer Kramer-Navid Mason
She swore to herself, as she walked down the streets of darkness, that it was time. Time to let go, let go of something that has never been there. Her version begins to blur away as she shakily, stared down the icy cold water down below the bridge. The very same bridge her mother decided to jump from, she died drowning. Summer is drowning while everyone is breathing away. But this time she’ll breathe for once. She climbed onto the edge and held the pole beside herself. She took her final breathes, before attempting to jump.
“Please don’t” A soft voice spoke from behind.
“Please go away, you don’t understand” She hardly said from her swore voice, from the crying.
“If you jump, I’d jump in too” He said, “You’re too pretty to do this.” He added as he walked forward.
“You see, lies! You don’t know me; I may be the ugliest person to walk on the surface of this earth!” Her voice was louder and deeper as her eyes darkened. “You don’t know me, no one does” her finally words ended as she jumped. The man run forward and threw his jumper as he too jumped.
“Bloody hell!” He exclaimed as he came to the surface of the water. He looked, till he figured she may have sink down. He took a deep breath and dove down. Made his way to the floating figure down, falling it was. Her blue hair delicately floated, as her face so innocent seemed so pale. He grabbed her hold and never did he let go as he swam up.
He checked her pause, she was alive. He decided to carry her to his place. As walking she mummed something. “No one knows me.”
