The Queen Isis had laid down the law in the kingdom and in the lands before her that all dragons must be enslaved. All those who disobey will be killed. With the dragons in hiding, they are more on edge then ever. How can new, inexperienced masters find there dragon? And how can they keep themselves safe from the hunters?

3. Queen Isis

AS she awoke from her huge bed she stood, walking over to the mirror she smiled, wickedly. She was never going to be bested by any dragon ever again. Her teeth showed fangs but other than that she looked pretty much human. Her dress hugged her body, but dragged against the ground at the bottom. She thought about the dragon that had left her years before and she snarled, slamming her hand into the mirror it shattered.

"Guards!" Isis yelled. Two guards entered the room in seconds.

"Yes your highness?" They both asked in unison

"Bring in the head hunter to my throne room, I wish to speak with him."

"Yes Queen Isis." They both said, almost fleeing the room. She did give off a very threatening aura to the humans and she liked it that way. She walked to the throne room her heals clacking on the ground, echoing in the silent hallway. Finding her place on her throne she tapped her sharp claws against the arm rest. Domanic entered a moment later and kneeled.

"You called for me your highness?" He asked looking up at her.

"Yes I want a report, how many dragon riders have you caught and how many dragons have your slain or enslaved?" She almost hissed to him. She truly was a wicked ruler.

"My Queen, we have caught three dragon riders in the city, only two dragons have been caught though. One we had to kill but the other we enslaved. Two of my men died in the fight of the one dragon." He said in a rough voice. You only could ever  see his one eye, his face was covered and the other hand a band over it, hiding the scar of a dragons claws. He always wore blood red clothes and a red cloak. He always had polished silver shoulder plates and a chest plate on as well as some armor on his legs, and the boots of a thief. Isis, slamming her fist down on the throne let out a hiss and a low growl.

"Were losing more hunters then gaining dragon riders and dragons. You need to speed up the process. I don't care if you have to train more hunters or retrain your hunters, just get it done."

"Queen Isis it isn't that easy, the dragons are very smart and hard to track down. Not to mention they are ten times the size of us humans -" He said before being cut off.

"Do you think I care!?" Isis shrieked, getting off her throne and had claw on his neck. "Get it done or your hunters will have to find a new leader. I gave you more than enough to find them and do what you will with them." He gulped and nodded. "Good now get out." Isis said staring at him.

"Yes your highness." Was all he said before collecting himself and hurrying out of the room. She smiled, her teeth showing plainly. Opening a small book she always kept she went over all the dragons she knew of. The ones she knew she drew x's through with her claws. Letting out a wicked laugh she sat back down on her throne. No one would be able to stop her soon.
