He dove down from the sky, making a corkscrew like motion as he swooped down and caught a large animal in his mouth. He was a long, skinnier dragon with spines and horns all over. He was a blackish, gray dragon and was older.
As he flew he could sense a master and their dragon flying nearby as he looked over he saw them. He didn't know why they got so close to him but he didn't like it, not with the new laws. Nose diving, he went towards the woods. They were at his tail, he moved and pulled up going towards his home in the mountains. As he did he fell back down towards the cave. They couldn't follow and they crashed right into the top of the mountain.
He swooped down by them, the dragon was dead he knew that much. He didn't mean to get the dragon killed. As he turned into his human form he walked over to them. He was almost hardly human looking. H e had longer, black hair and dragon eyes. He had prominent dragon fangs and had some scales where skin should be. Instead of human fingernails he had claws but every dragon did when they were human. The girl pushed herself free of the dragon and looked dazed, he must have gave her amnesia. Looking at him, her eyes widened and she pushed her self away.
"Are you alright? You took quiet a fall there." Asher said to the girl. He hoped maybe she didn't remember that he was the one who caused this. He'd hate to kill the human too.
"Who are you? How did I get here?" She gasped.
"I'm Asher, and like I said you and your dragon fell and crashed." Asher said. Good she didn't remember how she got there. "I have a home here if you want to stay, you're badly injured." Looking to her she was now staring at her dragon. She must have thought that her dragon was knock out because she didn't act as if the dragon was dead. She nodded and Asher picked her up and took her to his home. He laid her down where his old bed was. He never actually used it. He'd much rather sleep on the piles of treasure he had scattered around his home. He bandaged her wounds, and wrapped a bandage around her head, in case the amnesia was from a wound on her head. "So who are you? What are you doing this far away from population?" He asked her.
"The kingdoms are hunting down any human who has the potential to be a dragon rider or that already is a dragon rider. So what you dragons call masters, have left the kingdoms in search of a new place to go. I'm Ryia also." She said. He took her hand and shook it.
"Well you can stay here until you heal if you want." Asher said to her. She nodded,
"Yeah, that would be cool. Thanks." She said to him. His ear's perked up.
"Would you excuse me? I sense someone entering my territory." He said before turning into a dragon and slithering out. Someone's day was about to get ruined, Asher thought.
