13. That Night
"What the fuck Louis!" I yell at the boy who was once my best friend, how the hell could he? "You are supposed to wait for someone to tell you to come in when you knock." He says. Alison sits on her bed feeling very uncomfortable. "Alison I love you." I slap my hand over my mouth. Did I say that out loud? "Uh, but you rejected me." She looks down at her hands, blushing. She's probably never been in this position. "I know and it was a mistake I don't want to hurt you ever again." There are tears in her eyes, I don't know what she's going to say next. "Harry I just don't know give me the night to think about it." Louis tries to hide a smile, he probably thinks that he is going to win her over. I walk out of her room trying not to listen to Louis comforting her. I go back into my room and lie on the bed, thinking about how I would give anything to be the one holding her right now.
"Boys, Alison! Foods ready!" My mom yells from downstairs. I open the door to my room to see Louis and Alison already heading down the stairs. My mom is sitting at the table, in front of her is a big pot of soup and some other sides. I sit down next to her, Louis and Alison sit on the other side of the table basically sitting in the same seat. Alison starts blushing when she sees me staring at her, which sends Louis over the edge. He scoots away, I bet he feels her already slipping away. "So, Alison and Louis how long have you been together?" Alison's eyes widen, she looks from me to Louis,"Oh we aren't together…" Her face is red, Louis says, "Oh yeah no we aren't." My mom chuckles and continues eating.
"What a shame, you guys would be the cutest couple!" She whispers so only I can hear it.
