Hello, my name is Ellie. I’ve been kicked out of several schools in the past. All for different reasons and some aren’t even real reasons. My parents moved out of town, leaving me with my older sister, Millie. She isn’t great, but she is a sister that loves everyone, and almost everything… bugs aren’t on that list. No matter what It comes down to… I don’t see anyone working well together. Every school I’ve been to, well it felt like a drama lesson. Everyone was acting with their rehearsed words. Some words would just fly out of nowhere. And some… well, the words would just repeat over and over.
“Alice isn’t going to be in today… her mother has called in sick.” The teacher whispered.
“A new class… oh boy!” The nerd spat.
“When I get my hands on that, lovely person. I won’t be responsible for my actions…” a boy said.
“Do you think class is going to be about boring old history?” My best friend asked me.
“If you think that for one second… history is going to be boring… you’re mistaken!” interrupted the nerd.
What really shocked me when I first got to school is… the nerd. He wasn’t just someone you could play ball with. He was a bully, a bully in subjects at least. He never seemed to bully on purpose, unless the topic was about lessons. Once me and my best friend, Abby. We hung out with the nerd, his name is Eric. And he wasn’t one for talking, when it comes to girl’s at-least. Abby had feelings for him, for about ten minutes. Those ten minutes were up before a firework could go off. Abby slapped Eric around his face with her favourite book. Her diary… I honestly didn’t expect her to read all that much. Although, she is great in class. A great friend to talk to. A real bitch when she wants to be. She has her ups and downs, just like me. Millie doesn’t see her as a great influence on me. Millie talks to my best friend behind my back…
My best friend, a friend that I keep close to me. Ellie is her name, and she certainly has her personality nailed. She always pedicures her nails in class; when the teacher isn’t looking. She always smiles and flirts with boys. I’d ask her to get me a drink, just once a week. And she’d give me the silent treatment. A best friend who surely can become a female beast. And when Millie and I are together, well… we just chat. Yet with Millie’s sister. I can’t get through to her thick skull. She always ignores what I have to say about people. Whether it is Eric, or even… just a boy that alerted me on something new. Yeah, she isn’t a great influence on me. Millie keeps her secrets though, she tells me most of them. Hard to believe that two sisters can’t trust each other. With me, I have two older brothers and a young sister. My older brothers don’t talk to me much. But I do get to have a look into their lives. And with someone like Eric, he is quite interesting.
“Bitch, hand me my pink bag…” Ellie whispered.
“No way. That bag was stolen from the department downstairs…” I sighed.
“No way?! – The bag is mine. Lost and found are so dull, just hand it over…” Ellie hissed.
“Calm down please girls, or it’ll be a table arrangement for next lesson…” the teacher shouted.
My first day at school, it was a day to remember. Some reason, I had to be the one to attract attention.
Mother won’t be back until dawn. And father is just as bad as mother is. I’ve seen my younger sister claw her way into my life. It has been awful! – Yet… when she’s down, some reason I have a heart. Her friend though, so delicate. She reminds me of myself when I was younger. Taken for advantage, and I know how Ellie treats people sometimes. She never learned respect, in a sense of education. She wasn’t really brought up with a great example. The school life never really affected her, it got me though. It made me cry sometimes, school had claws around me every day! And who do I have to blame for that? My parents. My parents are complete idiots. If I ever see father again, he’ll be facing the end of my fist.
“She stole a pink handbag. It was from the Lost & Found department…” Abby cried.
“Oh really? – I’ll give her a good punishment. And just… go return it yeah?” I whispered.
“Do you ever listen? – I don’t have the bag!” Abby screamed.
“Sorry… look, just tell Ellie to come downstairs…” I sighed.
“Okay… - I’ll do that. She better give it back, because… I’ll do something if she doesn’t!”
