I stared out the window as the night sky was lite up by lightening. The rain was pouring down like cats and dogs so we were all locked up inside. I walked out of the bedroom with my hair dripping wet. I followed the noise into the big open den. Half of the boys were in there playing video games. I walked to the kitchen to find Liam and Drew cooking dinner. I peered into the living room to find everyone else watching TV.
"Need any help?" I asked getting a soda out of the fridge. "What are we having anyway?"
"Spaghetti and all help is welcomed." Liam smiled softly at me.
"I love spaghetti!"
"Good!" Drew smiled.
After they finished making the food I helped set the table which seemed endless considering how many people were in the house. Twelve boys and two girls, highly unfair. After the table was set Liam called everyone to the table. The boys all rushed like hungry monkeys. I took a seat next to Rory as she was talking to Wesley about the movie they were watching. Soon the table was filled with a bunch of side conversations. It was quite hard to keep my ears tuned to just one and it was starting to cause a headache to form.
"Are you okay Jazzy?" Drew asked sitting across from me.
"Yeah I'm fine.." I lied.
After everyone was done eating they all went their separate ways. I helped Drew clean the dishes and he was telling me about the song he had sung to me a few days ago. Our conversation broke with a low cough. I turned my head to see Harry leaning against the wall with a huge frown glued to his face.
"Something wrong?" Drew asked.
"I think you should stay away from her." Harry growled.
"Because considering your history." He smirked before walking away. I turned to see irritation all over Drew's face. He continued the dishes in silent then went to his room without saying another word. I made my way back to my room puzzled. What was this secret that was looming? I sat on the window seal and stared out the window as the rain kissed the glass. A knock on the door broke my thoughts.
"Come in." I said. When the door opened I turned my head to see Liam with a bowl of ice cream. He walked over to me and handed the bowl to me. "Thanks..." I mumbled.
"Is something troubling you?" He asked.
"What's Drew's history with girls?" I mumbled taking a bite of ice cream.
"Why do you ask?"
"Because Harry said it'd be best for him to stay away from me due to it..."
"Oh damn him." He groaned and rubbed his temple.
"How bad could it be?"
"Two of Drew's ex's had died."
"One right after they had a fight she drove home drunk. He didn't know she was drunk until her car was found in the river the next morning. The other when they broke up she walked right into traffic."
"Oh no.." I felt my eyes tearing up.
"For Harry to bring that up...." He grumbled. "That just crosses the line."
"Thanks for the ice cream." I said handing the bowl back to him before bolting out the door down the hall to his room. I didn't bother to knock, I just walked right in. He was undressing so I felt a bit embarrassed but I quickly got over it as I wrapped my arms around him and cried into his chest.
"Jazzy?" He mumbled rubbing the back of my head. "What's wrong?"
"....Harry is an idiot." I whispered.
