I woke up to notice that it was already late in the afternoon. Damn I slept most of the day away that sucks. Normally Aurora makes sure I'm up and doing things. I guess Wesley had taken over her thoughts which isn't a bad thing because that meant I was catching up on my sleep. I wandered through the halls until I heard someone softly singing in one of the bedrooms so I peeked into one. Drew looked up when he heard the door move. He smiled at me as I walked over and took a seat next to him. He wrapped one of his arms around a pillow and tried to cover the smile on his face with it.
"What were you just singing?" I asked.
"Just a song I'm working on." He smiled. "Are you cold?" He asked pointing out the small goose bumps on my arms and legs.
"Uh no..." I blushed and lied. He chuckled before getting up and going to his closet. He threw out a hoodie and that's when I noticed that he was shirtless. My eyes widened. I think he noticed I was staring because he started laughing. I blushed and put his hoodie on. He sat back on the bed staring at me.
"What?" I questioned.
"You have some very beautiful eyes." He smiled as I blushed. "You should be careful about wearing those kind of shorts around some of the other boys though." He said pointing at my yoga booty shorts.
"Because by the way Harry looks at you I'm afraid to think about what he'd do if he got you by yourself.." He frowned.
"I'm worried about that too..." I muttered and let out a soft yawn.
"Tired?" He teased.
"Naah." I giggled. "Can I hear that song of yours?" I smiled.
"I'll show you what I have so far.." He smiled and grabbed his guitar. I laid out on the bed as he started playing.
It goes once, twice
Third time's a charm
And I'm needing you in my arms
It goes one time,
All it took to know that I'm never letting you go
You'll never take me alive darling,
When you're dressed to kill in high heels, babe
Lookin' so damn fly,
Like a starling in your summer dress, hair's a mess
But you know that I like it that way
Spinning in circles here and now
I'm lost and found, found, found
It's all the little things, all the little things you say
All the little things, all the little things you do
All the little things, all the little things you are
They make you somethin' else, ye yeaa
They make you somethin' else
His voice was just so amazing, and I was struck with awe. He set the guitar back in its case then stretched out on the bed along with me.
"That was amazing!" I squealed.
"It's not done yet." He smiled.
"When it's done will you sing it to me?" I begged.
"Of course I'd be delighted to." He smiled. "So why do you have a bad feeling towards Harry?"
"I don't know I guess he just rubs me the wrong way.." I sighed.
"Well if he tries anything just call me I'll beat him up for you." He smirked causing me to laugh. We heard a deep cough which made our attention turn over to see Harry standing at the door with cold green eyes looking at us.
"What's going on here?" He growled.
"I'm gonna go back to my room..." I muttered pushing past Harry and walking quickly down the hall. My focus was making sure he wasn't following me when I ran into Keaton. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry Keaton!" I apologized sitting next to him on my knees. He stared up at me with disbelief for a second then smiled.
"It's fine Jazz." He mumbled standing back up and extending his hand out to me. "Why are you wearing Drew's hoodie?"
"Oh?" I looked down realizing I was still wearing it. "Because I was shivering and he threw it at me." I giggled.
"Were you running from Harry by any chance?" He whispered and I nodded slowly.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because he's glaring at us." I turned my head slowly with fright before heading back to my room. I sat on the comfortable window seal staring outside the window as rain started pouring down. I smelt something sweet and at first I didn't realize it was actually Drew's hoodie. I stretched out on the window seal playing with my iPhone and waiting for Aurora while enjoying the sweet smell of Drew's hoodie.
