I panicked throughout the body. I cried as I shook and I didn't care if everyone saw me. I left the house and ran towards the houses where the workers lived. In panic, I ran to Nialls house and banged on the door so that he would wake up.
"Wait ..." I heard him say, and then the door opened. I threw myself into his arms and I was shaking all over. I was crying so I didn't see anything in front of me. Niall held me and let me in. He closed the door so no one would hear us.
I didn't get out any words. I just sobbed and shook and the tears wouldn't stop coming. Niall released me and put me down on his bed. He sat down beside me and took out paper, so I could blow my nose.
"Please tell me ..." he whispered. I tried to calm me down, but it was difficult and I had to fight.
"Something terrible has happened!"
Niall took his arm around my shoulder and forced me to look at him.
I swallowed and felt that his eyes made me feel a little calmer.
"Harry has killed the child. Sara's in the hospital, and Harry admitted that he has given her the pills. I think he has killed the baby."
Niall was silent and he just stared at me. I didn't think he understood me, so I continued.
"I woke up when everyone ran outside my door. I came to Sara and there was blood everywhere. She screamed and she was in pain." I proceeded to tell Nial everything and even what Harry had said to me.
Niall hugged me tightly and he held me tight in his arms.
"We need to contact the police."
I shook my head.
"It's my word against his. Nobody will believe me. Not without evidence."
Niall sighed and I felt his hands slid up and down over my back to comfort me.
"Then we can only wait and see what happens?"
I nodded and released him.
"I don't want to go back there. I don't want to live in that house and I don't want ..."
Niall smiled at me and ran his hand through my hair.
"Slept next to me this night and in the morning we talk with Louis?"
I slept with my clothes on and I felt Nialls arms around my waist. He was close to my back and I felt his nose against my ear. I heard he fell asleep and I heard how he began snoring quietly. I felt so small, but I was safe for the moment. No one would believe me and I doubted that Louis would have imagined that Harry was behind it all. It felt like everything just slipped away and I stood in a desert without hope. I prayed to God that Sarah would survive, but I suspected that the child was already dead.
I woke up early in the morning that people outside Nialls house started go to their jobs. I also felt that I was alone in bed. I spun around and saw Niall standing with only his underwear on at a small wood stove. He was boiling water for tea and he fried some eggs. He smiled weakly at me when he saw that I was awake.
"I don't have much food, but I'll make sure you get something in your stomach."
I gulped and nodded. I couldn't help but look at him. He had a nice figure. A little hair on his chest and he looked so manly. He had muscles and I knew he had lived a tough and hard life. You saw at him that he was working and that he could lift heavy things.
Niall came over to the bed with the tea. I sat up and leaned against the headboard. I gratefully accepted the cup. Niall picked up a plate of eggs and put the plate on my lap. Then he sat on the bed and watched me closely.
"How are you?"
"I don't know how I feel. It feels like I haven't slept in a week and I'm just so tired."
He smiled and pulled away a few hairs from my face.
"It will be fine. I know you are a survivor and you will do well."
"How do you know?"
He smiled bigger.
"So far, I think that you've done pretty good! Don't you think so?"
Louis had come back to the house. I went in to him, in his bedroom and I found him lying on the bed. I saw he had been crying and he looked like a broken man.
"We lost the baby."
Louis wiped away tears and took a deep breath.
"The doctors don't know what happened. They will do anything to save her, but it looks like they wont make it."
I felt my own tears came.
"Louis, do you trust me? Do you trust my words?"
He looked at me and I saw that he nodded weakly.
"Why wouldn't I .."
"I'm serious. If I tell you something, don't be mad at me."
He nodded and smiled weakly.
I sat down on the bed and took his hand in mine. I looked into his eyes and I took a deep breath . I told him about Harry and the fact that he had been glad it happened. I told him what Harry had told me and I told him the whole truth.
Louis just sat silently and stared at me. He didn't seem to understand that I was serious. Instead, he settled up in bed and just stared at me.
"So you're saying that Harry's behind this?"
I shook my head .
"He said that! I didn't..."
Louis swallowed and I saw how he really thought about what I had said.
"And what pills is this about?"
I didn't know. I showed that I had no idea. Louis seemed to think more and finally he released my hand. I saw him leave the bed and he put on his clothes. Then he went to the door and gave me a quick glance.
"I promise to let you know if I hear the same thing. I 'll find out if there are any pills in this house that can harm a child. I must have evidence if I should believe in you."
I lay in bed all day. I felt neither to be awake or to sleep. I thought about my life, I thought about my choices and I realized that I could have stopped it. I should have known that Harry would be jealous and that he would do everything in his power to stop change.
When the sun went down there was a knock on the door. Liam came in and I saw he had tears in his eyes. He didn't have to say anything, I understood.
He nodded and looked down at the floor.
"They couldn't save her and she came in to late."
I felt how the tears came and I felt the whole I began to shake again. Harry hadn't only killed the child, he had killed Sarah, and it meant that he was a murderer.
