The fog was thick and the boat had to slow down. I felt Liam's arm around my shoulders and I looked out over the water. I had no idea where we were and I had no idea if Niall knew I came.
"So Niall knows about ..."
I paused and looked at Liam. He laughed a little bit and gave me a light kiss on the cheek.
"Yes, he knows you're coming and he's waiting for you. I told him that you would otherwise die. He wanted you to come to him no matter what I thought."
"So he loves me?"
Liam nodded and looked out over the water.
"He loves you so much that he was willing to come back."
"But then he ended up in prison?"
Liam nodded again and this time he looked at me seriously.
"He was prepared for it all, just he got to see you one last time."
As the sun began to go up the fog lifted up. I just saw water around us and I had no idea if we soon would arrived to Ireland. I froze and I could feel my body started to get tired. I looked down at my stomach and realized that soon it was time to give birth. I was for the first time in a long time aware that it was moving there inside. I felt over my belly with my hand and discovered that the child was indeed a spirited little creature.
"Are you hungry?"
I met Liam's eyes again and nodded. He picked up a bag and showed me that there were sandwiches, chicken and fruit. He had also brought with him the water and juice.
"I didn't know what you liked so I brought a bit of everything."
"I'm grateful and it doesn't matter, only I don't have to be hungry."
Far away, I began to see the country. I saw rocks and I saw grass. I shone directly up and stood up. It was a wonderful to see land again.
"This is Ireland." Liam whispered and stood beside me. "Soon you'll be home."
"At home with Niall."
The boat increased speed and it slid across the water. We went along the coast and I didn't release the country with my eyes. I saw houses, trees, cows, grass, and it was so green. It was as if I came to another planet and everything was so beautiful.
"The green island!" Liam mumbled. "Ireland will be a good place for you."
The boat approached a small harbour. I saw other boats that lay there and bobbed. I saw movement and I saw people. I was hoping that I would see Niall again but I wasn't sure about that. I couldn't ask Liam, because I was so tired now. I sat down and felt my whole body ached. Still, I kept me awake and I was tense. Slowly we approached the dock and the boat landed at the edge. Liam helped me up on the bridge and he took my bag, then he turned around to the man who owned the boat.
"Thank you for helping us."
"Are you coming with me back?"
Liam looked at me and then at him again.
"I let you know when I'll return. I must take her to Nialls home and make sure everything will be fine."
Liam took me to a small parking area . He walked over to a small shop and I saw him talking to the owner. I sat down on a rock and just waited. Everywhere was sailors and many seemed to be fishermen. I saw how they worked to get start the boats and I smiled a little bit . I had never been at a port before and it was exciting to just sit there. Liam came back and smiled at me.
"Niall's on his way here and I guess he will be here soon."
I nodded and my whole body tingled. I missed him so much and I felt my patience was running out.
"What happens to you now?" I got out of me. Liam smiled and sat down beside me on the rock.
"I do not know!" he answered honestly. "I can't go back to the farm. Louis understand that it was I who took you away."
I hated the thought that Liam had to pay a heavy price, but he was happy.
"I don't want to go back." he answered quickly. "I believe that my life on the farm is over and I'll instead to see the world."
All my emotions overflowed. I saw Niall jump out of a car and how his eyes searched for me. I got up from the rock. I ran all the way over to him and threw myself into his arms. I was crying, I was shaking and I didn't know what I told him. It was like a dream and I didn't want him released him.
"My little princess!" Niall mumbled and he kissed me. I felt his wonderful lips against mine and I felt his arms around my body. He smiled and ended the kiss. Then he looked down at my stomach.
"You're big now?"
I laughed and wiped away tears. I smiled at him and I couldn't stop touching him.
"It's almost time!" I whispered and caressed his cheeks with both my hands. Niall looked into my eyes again and I saw that he also wept.
"I've missed you so much."
"And I missed you."
"Thank you!" Niall hugged Liam quickly and showed with the entire body how grateful he was. "Are you coming with us and eat some food?"
Liam shook his head and pointed to the port.
"I think I'll work on a boat for a while. I intend to see the world and I know it'll work out for you."
Niall nodded and then he looked at me again.
"Are you ready sweetheart to meet my family?"
I nodded and smiled with my whole face. He opened the door for me and I sat on the passenger seat. Niall closed the door and I heard him say something to Liam. He then laid my bag in the car and he got behind the wheel. I just stared at him and I had to pinch my arm. My Niall sat really there, he was with me and I was with him. No one would split us up again.
"Promise to never leave me ever again." I whispered. Niall looked quickly at me and steered the car right on the road.
"I promise, but I had no choice. Louis had hired some great guys and they threw me into a van. They drove me all night and then they threw me into a boat. I had no idea what was happening, but I knew he didn't want me near you. It was Liam who told me that you were pregnant and then I understood why I had to go away. Louis wanted the baby."
I put my hand on his thigh.
"I know ..."
Niall looked at me again quickly and smiled weakly.
"But now you're here and will take care of you. I'll protect you, and he will never touch you again."
