The rest of the school day was a lot more bearable with Sam there, even if we didn't have the same class together. We mind chatted and I found out that her full name was Samantha Clara Hulls and she doesn't like it when people call her Samantha as she claims it is too girly for her. But I think it a beautiful name for a beautiful young woman. She enjoys horror movies, her favourite singer is Avril Lavigne and her favourite type of music is pop. She enjoys rowing and tries very hard to win medals. She told me that she has travelled the world in order for her to be trained as a vampire hunter. Crystal Falls is the only place that she has managed to stay more than a couple months at. She has stayed at Crystal Falls for at least two years now. She didn't need much training anymore, so she has had the chance to have a place she can actually call home.
I told her about my family and how they had rejected me, but now I have the Fylakas pack as my true family. I told her about some of the places I went over the centuries and even thousands of years and how people used to act compare with now. She had asked me what my favourite time was and I replied that this is the best time I've ever been in. I got a family and I got her. I know she is my one and only Sam, I will never find another girl anything like her. I wish I had met her a long time ago. She is the only woman that has loved me for exactly how I am and not wanted to change me. Some of it comes with being soul mates, but she could have still chosen to walk away and she didn't. She was the only one I that had enough faith in, to say what I am to when it has been only a short time.
I ended up forgetting to confront my sister, I didn't have any classes with her and I was distracted with finding out who my mate was. I was too interested in getting to know her. She is the only girl I have ever loved. I couldn't wait to get to know her properly.
At six o'clock I picked her up for our date. I took her the best restaurant in town, Hamish's restaurant and bar. There were only to restaurants in town so it wasn't that much of a guess to where I was going to take her. She wore an elegant emerald green dress that went down to her knees, showing off her legs that were smooth and slim. The dress really brought out her soft blue eyes. She wore a gold necklace with a small diamond heart, golden wedges, a small gold studded clutch and her wavy hair was flowing down past her shoulders. She was the perfect image of what a goddess would look like, maybe even more beautiful.
Dinner was great I found out a lot more about Sam and I in turn told her more about myself. I ended up telling her about killing my father and how I had bit him and didn't help him because he caged me up like a deranged animal. She nodded and said that it wasn't my fault and I wasn't the one who killed my father. He had gotten himself killed by being so prejudice, racist and cruel. Also, that I shouldn't blame myself for what had happened.
She really did understand me even though we had only known each other for such a short time. I guess we knew a lot about each other considering we only met four days ago. She told me about her family, they were very anti-vampire because they were all vampire hunters, well except for her mother Victoria Hulls. She married into the supernatural world. She did have something that could make her supernatural but it wasn't that strong of a power. Her mother can tell whether someone's lying and what others are feeling but only the ones that she is close to.
She has a brother called Troy. He isn't that friendly to her but she still loves him because he's still her brother. Then she spoke of her father Cedric, who was still in the vampire hunting business and how he was going to retire in a few years to spend more time with his family. She said he often left months at a time to hunt. She missed having him around ever since she could remember.
When we had finished dinner I took her home in my navy blue convertible. We exchanged good nights at her front door. Her mother was home but her father wasn't. At least I know I'm safe from that hunter. All I could say is today was the best day of my life.
It is Friday. For me it hadn't been a very eventful after Nat had left to join her pack on Wednesday night. We all had been watching the boards since then and there seem to be getting less and less wolves. There may only be about eleven now, which seemed strange because where have they gotten to? What had become of them? They all seemed to go in such a short amount of time. Klaus came back yesterday and he told me that he hadn't been able to confront his sister; also that he had found out that his mate was Sam and he had taken her out on a date.
'You know you still had time to find out where your sister is hiding. You know in between the end of school and the time of your date with her.' I said over the breakfast table. I buttered my toast next to Tracy and Klaus.
'I didn't want to be caught up in my sister's affairs. She has wanted to kill me before. For all I know I could be walking straight into one of her traps.' Klaus replied taking a sip from his cup of blood.
'I guess you'll have to get that done today and just to make sure that it happens I will go to school with you.' I took a large bite out of my jam toast.
'That's okay, I can handle it myself. I wouldn't want her to find out who you are.' Klaus said taking a long drink from his cup and setting it down on the table.
'No, I will be going or Susanna and Tracy will be going to school with you to make sure you get this done.' I rebutted.
'Oh, come on Aiden. Please go we don't want to go to school, it's such a drag. I hate teachers and homework, I don't want to go Aiden please,' Tracy moaned. Both Tracy and Susanna started to pout.
'Well, that is up to Klaus.' I said. They both huffed and crossed their arms over their chests. They gave Klaus an angry look.
'Fine, Aiden come with me then.' He didn't look to happy about it but he knew that he didn't want to challenge me. Someone knocked at the door; I got up and went over to answer it.
'We need your help,' a man in his late twenties pleaded. 'We are under attack. I've already lost a brother, a sister in law and a niece. Please help us, Fylakas pack.' He looked exhausted as if he hadn't slept in days and tense. He wore a black coat with a hood; in fact everything he wore was black like he had just come from a funeral.
'Come in, so we can discuss this privately.' I replied. He seemed to look more at ease as he walked in. Mum was cleaning up after breakfast and my sister's were helping with the dishwasher. 'Please sit,' I gestured to the breakfast table. We sat down, 'please tell me what has been going on.'
'It all started about a month ago, the vampire's have been trying to kill us off. To start off with there were only a few of them and it was easy to fend them off. But now their numbers are too great for us to handle. There were fourteen of us but now there are only eleven. My wife was injured last night and a few others's but they got off easy, both of her legs were broken. Our pack normally doesn't choose to change back after the night of a full moon. We normally change back after a few days, but the bloodsuckers took that away from us.' He spat out in disgust. 'They are slowly picking us off one by one. My pack is the Eucalistus pack of the west. I'm Peter Eucalistus Alpha of my pack. We desperately need your help to defend ourselves.' Peter finished off, waiting patiently for my answer. If I don't help this pack how safe will mine be when they have picked off all of the remaining Eucalistus pack members. Not verysafe if the vampires are trying to get rid of the werewolf race. Even with Klaus an original hybrid on our side we will still be overtaken by numbers.
'How many of them are there?' I asked.
'There are only seven in my pack, it will not help that much.' I paused for a moment or two thinking until an idea struck me. 'I could always go and see my mate from the Thymari pack to see if they can offer any assistance.' I suggested.
'Brilliant, can you let us know as soon as possible. My house is number eleven Jackson Ave, call around when you know.' He got up and shook my hand. 'Thank you. You don't know how grateful I really am.'
'Us werewolves need to have each others' backs otherwise we would have been extinct a long time ago.' I smiled. Peter nodded and walked out the door.
Klaus come in through the back door by the kitchen as I started off towards my room to get my stuff ready for school. Klaus walked into my room, lending against the door frame.
'What was that all about?' He asked.
'The Eucalistus pack is under attack by the vampires. They have a plan to get rid of their pack but I think it may not be completely true. I think the vampires are trying to get rid of all of us. We have to find out what your sister is doing here and see whether Nat's pack can join us to fend them off.' I answered, slipping books into my bag. Klaus already had his slung over his shoulder.
'You will have to enrol for level two, if you want to have classes with Nat.' Klaus said. I moaned. Level two was hard even though I didn't stay at school for all of level one. Klaus threw his hands up in a surrendering way. 'Hey, you're the one who wanted to go to school with me.' We headed out to catch the bus.
I got a ride with my mum this morning to get to school early. I really need to see Sam and sort everything out about the white wolf stuff. I hope it is her, she always tells me that her dad goes away quite often on business trips. Something always seems off when she says it, as if it isn't completely true. I was waiting at the school gates for her to get dropped off. I watched over students climb out of their cars and pass through the gates, all but Sam.
'Hey, there stranger,' I spun around to see Sam walking over. I embraced her, smiling like a mad man. 'How have you been? I thought you would be coming back until next week.' Sam said.
'I needed to come back today. I really need to talk to you about something, in private. It is really important.' I grabbed her hand and dragged her through the crowd toward to middle of the soccer field. We sat down in the empty field as everyone was by their lockers getting their books ready for class.
'What is Nat?'
'You're a vampire hunter right?' She gave me a shocked look.
'How did you know?'
'I always thought there was something off when you said your dad was away on business trips, plus all the travelling you have done. I didn't know for sure until Wednesday. But that isn't it. I wanted to tell you that I'm a werewolf.'
'Wednesday was the full moon, but how come you were in all that pain?'
'That would be because it was my first transformation. You gave me a gift of not being able to feel all the pain when changing. First off I thought it was because you were a witch but after I changed for the first time I found out something. I am a white wolf, a legendary werewolf occurrence. My mum gave me a small handbook about the legend of the white wolf. It told me that I was to be trained by a witch, vampire hunter. The ultimate vampire hunter, which made me think, who it could be? My first and best thought was you---'
'Wait, you think I'm a witch, vampire hunter of legend. I can't be I'm not a witch, I can't be. It's impossible,' she cut me off. She was denying most of it but it isn't like every day you are told that you are the ultimate vampire hunter.
'I bet you have made things happen, things that you can't explain. I have been away for four days, something must have happened.' I stated. Realization seemed to hit her as she put the puzzle pieces together.
'Oh my god, all those things that happened in class was me, the exploding mug, the textbooks being set on fire, and the glue spilling directly on Tyler with the paper circling around. That time I was outside the dairy getting milk and I predicted an accident. It was all because I'm really part witch. It all makes since my mum has uncanny abilities to tell when someone is telling the truth or know when anyone from my family is in trouble. What does it mean if I am a witch, vampire hunter?' She confessed.
'Well as much as I know is that you are supposed to train a white wolf. They are very rare and only are around when a great war of the supernatural is to break out. They are ultimate vampire hunters created by a witch called Kikimora to get her revenge on vampires. Just to let you know I am a white wolf and I need your help.' I explained.
'You want me to train you?' She questioned, looking a bit unsure.
'I guess I could, when do you want to start?'
'How is after school for school? I'll sort someone out to train you up on your witch powers.' I answered.
'Ok, I'll see you then.'
'See you then.' I replied. The bell rang for class and we both made our way to our first classes. I already had my books with me so I was all set.
