Two girls went out in a rowing boat in the late afternoon. The river was very smooth and easy to row on. Their oars went in with ease. They rowed together in perfect harmony until they got to a certain point up the river where they enjoyed going for a swim after their row down to that point. They tied their boat to a tree on the left side of the river and stripped down to their bras and underwear then dived into the cool, crystal clear water. They swam in their favourite spot under willow trees, ferns and giant flax plants. It was a truly beautiful place. They splashed around and swam. They were laughing and giggling. The eldest girl went exploring through the willows and found a rope swing, she climbed a tree and jumped swing swiftly through the trees, until the swing slowed down so it was easy enough to fall off. The elder girl landed in the smooth glass like river with a splash, breaking the undisturbed surface of the river.
The eldest girls name was Natalie. She was brought up on a farm with her parents and brother. The youngest girls name was Samantha, but she prefers Sam. She has been travelling around the world all her life but, has started to stay in one place for high school education. She also lives with her parents and brother. They were similar in some ways these two friends and complete opposite in the other. They had become friends when Sam had started high school at the same school as Natalie. They spent most of their free time together. The other times they would be spending their time on their laptops or with their other friends in their year group.
The girls were just floating on the water, when they heard and saw two boys fall out of one of the flax plants. Sam asked them in a slightly raised tone, why were they watching them from behind the flax. They got up off the ground, with a bit of colour in their cheeks and looked away in embarrassment. Natalie then said, "if you two wanted to swim with us all you needed to do was ask." The boys looked up and exchanged surprised looks at each other.
The taller one with blonde curls, a smooth jaw and a toned body spoke "I'm Klaus." The other boy who was about a head shorter than Klaus, has black wavy hair, dreamy blue eyes, a strong squarish jaw and a charming smile then introduced himself "I'm Aiden", he smiled at Natalie she was beautiful, the picture of perfection in his eyes. Her long dark brown hair fell down past her shoulders, her blue grey eyes were sparkling, her strong but slightly rounded jaw was perfectly symmetrical, her nose was soft, sweet and slightly pink, her cheeks were Rosy, young and had a happy glow, her broad figure suited her and showed off some of her strength. Her legs were toned and strong, her arms were strong as well as toned.
Natalie had come out of the water and was currently waiting for a response from Klaus and Aiden. "Can we join you?" Klaus asked.
"Of course, but we would prefer it if you didn't spy on us again" Sam replied.
Now Klaus had looked at Sam properly, to him she was the luminous moon of his starry night. He had already had a good look at the other girl, but he didn't feel any attraction towards her at all, sure she is pretty, just not in a way to interest him. As for Sam he couldn't take his eyes off her, he didn't even know what her name was and he was starstruck. Even though her hair was wet he could tell it was normally curly and blonde. She was a skinny girl with an oval shaped face, a small straight nose, starry blue eyes and a smile that turns heads as it was so luminous and breath taking.
"What are your names?" Klaus said.
"Nat and Sam" the blonde girl replied, pointing to her friend then herself. "So are you coming or going?" She asked .
Klaus shook his head like he was coming out of a trance, then he looked up and replied. "Coming" Klaus replied. Aiden was still standing there entranced by the sight of Nat. "What about you?" Nat asked. Aiden looked straight at her and stuttered in response, "C-coming."
Nat and Sam returned to the water, while the boys took their shirts off. "Real smooth, Aiden," Klaus said in a low tone.
"What I thought, it went rather well actually." Aiden replied.
"You almost blew our chance to go swimming with them. I saw the way you were looking at her." Klaus mocked.
"What?" Aiden said looking sheepish. Klaus lightly punched Aiden's arm and gave a humorous smile, then made his way over to the water.
Aiden quickly took off his shirt and joined them. The four of them laughed and messed around together for a few hours before the girls had to get going as it was getting dark.
We waved goodbye and set off back to the rowing sheds. "Sam?" I said.
"Yes," she replied.
"Those guys are so hot, I bet you could cook a full course meal on them," I whistled.
Sam chuckled, "Klaus is mine. I so call dibs on him."
"I call dibs on Aiden, so you can't call any take backs," I grinned.
"I don't plan on it," she remarked. Her taste in guys was a lot different to mine even when it just gets down to looks. We might both find someone attractive but we never liked the same guy. That is why I knew I would be safe when it came down to calling 'dibs' on Aiden and Klaus.
Aiden was handsome I must admit, but there was something about him that was drawing me to him. His blue eyes were capturing, he looked like a god as he had the perfect body, chiselled cheekbones, devilish black hair and a smile that was almost cocky but was so charming.
It will not be wise if I have a relationship with him if he is just a regular mundane. You see I am not what I look like on the outside. I am a werewolf. In fact I am born of one of the oldest werewolf families. I haven't changed yet, but I will change this coming full moon. My pack has been expecting me to change for years, since I turned fourteen. This full moon is going to be different I can feel it in my bones.
"Do you think we'll see them next time?" I asked.
"Yeah, I think Aiden really likes you. I'm sure he'll make an effort to come by again." Sam said.
"Yeah, I think I'll be looking forward to that." I blushed.
