It is weird going to school without Nat around. I missed her already; she always has a way of making things like school seem fun. The second day without her was horrible, weird unexplained things have been happening in class and after school. First it was a mug exploding in Mrs Todd's class and now a fire somehow lit its self in Maths.
It was pretty cool actually, well in my opinion. Destiny in my class lost her text book and asked Mr Decus for another one. He was really fuming. He bought out a whole box of spare textbooks yelling, "As you can see. I have plenty of text books to hand out to naughty little brats that don't look after their books!" He started throwing textbooks at everyone saying, "Here have another one just in case you lose that one!" By the time he got to the third person his box was smoking and people in my class started to notice.
Destiny raised her hand and Mr Decus turned around and shouted, "have you lost something else, Miss Fysher?"
"Sir, your box is on fire." Destiny stated. Mr Decus looked down. He dropped the box and started jumping on it to out the flames. Honesty I don't know what could be funny than seeing a teacher jumping up and down on a box of text books until, he slipped and fell on his butt. He got up, his face was as red as a beetroot and started to try and teach us as if nothing had happened. The whole class broke out in laughter when he turned around because he must have ripped his pants when he slipped over.
"What's so funny?" He asked in an angry tone.
"Nothing sir, just you." Tyler commented.
"I can't see how algebra is so funny," he turned around and the class erupted with laughter once more. Mr Decus looked down at the back of his pants. He flushed with embarrassment, it was red to begin with then he went almost purple. This only made my class laugh even louder. He rushed out of the room.
"Mr Fernet, will look after while I gone!" He yelled as he went out the door. The whole class moaned in complaint as Mr Fernet is one of the most boring teaching you will ever have.
That ends the tale of one of today's events. The next one wasn't as funny but, more strange and mysterious. I was biking home and I went to get some milk for breakfast when I came out however, I slumped to the ground, against wall of the dairy. It was weird I had this flash of images; Parker street, bus, car, cat and policemen.
As it happened I go past Parker Street on the way home. When I was biking past I looked and I saw policemen all over the street with a small bus on its side and a cat was sitting on the roof of the car licking itself. I looked like the car had swerved to miss something and the bus must have swerved to miss the car or something. It sort of freaked me out since I had a vision of something that did actually happen.
Why are these things happening to me? I'm not a witch, I'm not even sure if they are real. I am a vampire hunter, not a witch. How can these things happen to me? Just my luck I guess.
When I got home I asked Dad about it and he looked at me like I was going insane. "I think you have been watching too much of "CSI" and those other murder programs." He said brushing it off, like it was nothing.
When asked Mum I got practically the same response. Now, it seems like I am on my own for this one great. I decided it was a good opportunity to go for a row, so left the house and headed down to the rowing sheds. I text Destiny to meet me down at the rowing sheds so I had someone to row with. She replied that she would meet me there.
We rowed out in the double together until we got to the place Nat and I normally swam. We both got out and went swimming together for a bit over twenty minutes. Aiden and Klaus walked out of the flax onto the shore.
"Mind if we join?" Klaus asked.
"Yes actually, we were just about to leave," I replied.
"Where's Nat?" Aiden asked.
"She's sick. This is my friend Destiny." I could see that she was attracted to them and was started to get her flirt on.
"And you are?" She was looking straight at Klaus and I didn't like it. She was biting her lip lightly.
"This is Klaus and Aiden," I said pointing at the two boys separately.
'Where do you two live?' she asked.
"About a kilometre inland, he is my neighbour." Klaus replied.
"What brings you here by the river tonight?" She battered her eyelashes.
"We like walk in the evening." Aiden said.
"I think it's best we get going before it gets dark and your mum starts to wonder what you are up to." I said looking at Destiny and indicated for us to leave and she looked at me like a child that had had their favourite toy taken from them. Destiny was a big flirt with the guys and was never without a boyfriend. She was always jumping from guy to guy since she got bored easily. In the end I grabbed her arm and pulled her away with me.
"What are you doing? I thought I was going pretty good job of getting myself a date." She said a little annoyed.
"Well, you can expect everyone to be okay with it when you flirt with any male that breathes and walks." I said.
"It I didn't know any different, I would say that you have a crush on that Klaus guy," she shot back.
"So what if I like him, at least I'm not trying to make myself look desperate," I rebutted. I think may have gone a bit far on that one. She looked furious and didn't say a single word the whole row back.
"Destiny, I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that," I said but she still didn't reply.
