What are you doing here?"I asked Liam as he was standing in my bedroom doorway.
He didn't answer me, but shoved passed me and sat on my bed. He made sure to take off his converse before placing his feet on my bed.
"I asked you a question!" I stated harshly as I shut my door and walked over to him.
"Well you didn't reply to my question so I texted some people to see if they knew were you lived and here I am. I thought you were ignoring me." He said as he turned he head to look around my room.
"I turned my phone off so I had no idea you replied back to me and I as doing homework. But you wouldn't know what that's like." His presence in my room was starting to annoy me. It's hard to believe that a few hours ago I was going all girly over him.
"Well maybe you could show me what we were doing. And I said that I was distracted by this breath taking girl." He started to sound more like a love struck puppy than a teen age boy.
I just huffed and crossed my arms and started to tap my foot with frustration.
"How did you even get in here?" Now that the shock from him showing up is gone, realization hit me that I never heard anyone knock on the front door.
"Your mom let me in." He said looking up at me. "Are you going to sit down or what?" He looked up at me eagerly.
"She isn't my mom and I guess." I sighed and I plopped down on the opposite side of my bed.
Liam just kept looking around my room until he spotted a purple book with owls on it that was on my bedside table.
"What's this?" He questioned as he picked up the notebook and wove it around in the air before he began to flick through the pages.
"Don't touch that!" I shouted as I jumped up and bounced over the pillows in my bed before tearing the book out of Liam's hand and going back to my previous position on the other side of my bed.
He just stared at me for a few moment before he burst into laughter. What was so funny? I mean seriously. It is something personal that I don't want him to see and he is laughing at me? What a prick!
"If you are just going to laugh at me you can leave." I spat and my intruder.
"Look love. I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing at how protective you get over your little diary." He said back almost as harshly.
I just let out a sound of disgust.
"It's not a diary." I stated a fact.
"Then what is it?" It felt like Liam's eyes were burning through my hand and to see what was being contained in the little booklet.
"Just things that you don't need to see." I said.
He just threw his hands up in surrender before pulling out his phone and began to tap on the screen. I leaned over the side of my bed and grabbed my phone off the charger and turned it on.
Before I could type my password into my phone, Ellana came into my room.
"Mach.." She stopped in the middle of my name as she eyeballed the punk boy that was sitting in my bed.
She wiped at her eyes frantically before fleeing the room and going back into her own.
"Look. Why exactly did you come here?" I finally asked the question that has be intruding my brain ever since he was standing at my doorway.
"Honestly, I don't know." He said as he shrugged his shoulders.
I just looked at him in awe then shook my head and turned my attention back to my phone. I had three messages on Facebook and two of them were from Liam.
"So are you just going to be mad or are you going to let me flirt with you?" Read the first one.
"I'm on my way to your house. Be ready. I'm taking you somewhere." The second said.
"You were planning on taking me somewhere?" I questioned him.
"Oh yeah. Were something sexy. I'm taking you to a party." He said like he owned me.
"I'm not going anywhere with you."I scoffed.
He just stood up and walked over to my wardrobe before opening it's wooden doors and snooped through my clothes. He pulled out a black beaded dress and tossed at me before grabbing a pair of red heels to compliment it.
"Put it on and do your hair and makeup if you are into it and we are going. I'm going to go talk to your mom." He said as he walked over to my door and winked at me.
"She isn't my mother." I corrected him again. "She is my aunt and do you really expect me to go with you?" I asked sternly.
He walked over to me before whispering into my ear.
"You are getting dressed and coming with me whether you like it or not. And if you say no one more time, I'll ruin your life." His words shook me. He snaked his armed around my back and squeezed my butt before leaving the room.
I quickly got dressed and did a natural look for my makeup and just left my hair with its unruly waves. Every second those nasty words kept running through my head.
"I'm taking her out to dinner Ms. Ardell." Liam's voice became clear as I stepped closer to the kitchen.
"Please call me Melissa Hun." My aunts sweet voice was so kind to the rude senior.
As I stepped beside Liam, my aunt gave me a sweet smile before waving me and Liam towards the door.
"You two have fun."Melissa was so happy to have a guy interested in me but little did she know the truth behind Liam's lie.
I kept looking around for a car that Liam could have possibly driven here with but there was nothing.
"We're walking." He said as if he was reading my thoughts.
He wrapped his arm around my waist and rested his hand on my hip as we began to walk. I let him lead since I had do idea where we were going. It was already pitch black outside and I could barely see the street signs as we passed them. I reached into my bra to retrieve my phone but it wasn't there. Shit! I left it on my vanity while I was doing my makeup.
We continued to walk in the darkness, Liam's feet following an invisible line that led to where we were going.
"Did I scare you?" Liam's voice broke the silence.
I just stopped dead and turned to look at him, his arm unwrapping itself from my body.
"You said you would ruin me." I whispered as he inched closer but I took a step back.
"I only said that to get you out of the house because I knew you wouldn't leave. I would never hurt you." With every word he got closer and closer.
I just kept taking small steps back, the heels of my shoes clicking on the cement. Liam's words made me hitch my breath. I didn't believe a single word he said. He finally stepped right in front of me, his height giving him the advantage of towering over me. I tried to take one more step to put as much space between us as possible but I ended up backing into something. A wall.
