I looked around for her. And I couldn't find her. My best friend. Jenny. I went with her to her first concert back in July. And now, she could be dead. But, what happened to be exact? My classroom was right next to the problem and I have no idea what's going on. I ran around looking for her.
"Jenny!" I yelled.
Then, I heard a voice behind me. Could it be that it's Jenny?! I turned around to see Annie. To be honest, I'm pretending to be friends with Annie or else she wouldn't leave me alone. Even now, she won't leave me alone. A lot of shit has happened between us that makes me want to beat the shit out of her. I want her to stop talking to me and hugging me as if nothing happened!
"Hi," She smiled, "What are you doing?"
"Looking for Jenny," I said, looking around.
"Why?" Annie asked.
"Do you not see what happened at the end of the hall?" I said, pointing to the blood and dead bodies.
"I don't care," She said, "Come hang with me."
"No," I said, "I have to look for Jenny."
"She's probably dead," Annie said, "Or ran away because she was scared."
"1. She isn't dead," I said, "And 2. Jenny's too courageous to do that."
"She's a little pussy," Annie said, "She likes keeping things to herself like boys, she steals friends from other friends."
"That's you!" I said.
She looked at me pissed. I need to tell her off and tell her what Jenny really is. She has no rights to say shit about my best friend that stood by my side in Grade 6 till now.
"Let me tell you about Jenny," I continued, "Jenny is a girl that puts everyone in front of her, she loves to help others. Yes, Jenny gets crushes here and there, but at least she doesn't hog them or hit the person her crush is hugging!"
"Her personality is shit," Annie said.
"No," I said, "YOUR personality is shit! Jenny is the sweetest girl ever. She gives up her seat on the bus to pregnant ladies, to elders and people who have a broken leg or arm. Unlike you!"
"Whatever," She said, rolling her eyes.
"You know," I said, "I was just trying to be nice. But, you were being a little bitch. I never liked you. I was pretending to like you as a friend to be nice, but you didn't care so goodbye bitch. Have a nice life."
I walked away from her as she watched me leave. Finally, the stress of this is off my shoulders. I had no regrets on looking back. I made my choice and that choice is going to give me a good life. Annie has no right to say shit about my best friend. Now, I have to find her. I ran to her locker. Praying that she's there.
'Jenny,' I thought, 'Please be at your locker...'
'Rachele,' I thought, 'I wish I was at my locker. But, I'm not...'
I felt like I was in someone's arms. He had strong arms. Different arms though. It didn't feel like it was Michael's arms. I woke up to feeling much stronger than the first time I woke up. I shook my head to wake up. I looked around to see where I was and it looks like I'm in a cave. Then, a voice spoke.
"Hi there," The voice said with a small smile.
I looked up and gasped on who it was.
